This school has a great building, fantastic playground (huge!) and wonderful, involved and caring staff. They are all well-qualified and intelligent people. They have been very accommodating and flexible. I love the sensible approach (let kids play first to get rid off physical energy, then inside to learn) and the extra's: chess, Spanish, sign language and a very flexible pre-and after-care. My kids progress has catapulted after two months coming from a 'good' public school.

Although this school has management issues, it is a good school. Most of the teachers whom I have known are no longer there. What makes this school good is due too the fact that this is the training center in NC for prospective Montessori teachers. Thus they have the resources to recruit great teachers. The classrooms and campus is great. They have a fenced in area for the younger children and an open field plus more for the older children. The classrooms are conducive to using Montessori methods of teaching. There is also a room with a one way mirror to watch your child without disrupting the class. The only other thing is the limited parking space. Although they have a system for drop off/pick up, if you want to park, go early.
