I have called 4 times seeking to find out if the cot cover I ordered has come in. Here is the typical conversation:
"Hello, Town and Country Kennel, can I help you?"
"Hi, I'd like to find out if my cot cover I ordered is in. Can you help me?"
"No, that woman isn't here."
"Well, can you find out if any cot covers have come in?"
"I don't think they have."
"Well, is there any way for you to find out?"
"The only one who has a number to the guy who makes the cot is gone."
"Oh. Well, what's his name?"
"I don't know."
"Can you find out? Look, I've called 3x for this."
"Well, I don't know, and like I said, the only woman who knows is gone."
"So, you are saying to me that there's no way you can help me."
"Right. You'll need to call back."
"How about you leave a note for the woman to call me back?"
"OK, that's a good idea. I'll have her call you. Have a nice day."
"Wait! Don't you need my name and number?"
"Oh ok, give it to me"
So that was 4 months ago, and I have had several other phone calls like the one above. Still no cot cover. I wonder how the cot guy's Christmas was? I do not recommend this kennel at all! Laziness and unwillingness to help on the phone is a huge red flag.
Pros: dressed for success this place
Cons: you pay for it

Want to know more about the workings of this kennel, but they only offer tours from 10 - 12 Mon. - Fri. No exceptions - too bad if dog owners work during those hours and cannot get there during those hours. Not impressed with such inflexible rules. Makes me feel something is being hidden. Like day care for children, there should be a way to see the operation in business during any of their business hours. My dogs are like my children to me. I wouldn't drop them off sight unseen. At the minimum they could have one evening or Saturday tour a week for a group of people. Not accomodating in my opinion.

My dog has been going to the Doggie Daycare for quite some time now. As an extremely friendly, playful and well-socialized dog I felt doggie daycare would be a great option for exercise and play while I am at work. The fees are high compared to others in the area and have even risen since I first started taking her. Despite this, I continued to bring my dog there - the people are all pretty friendly and seem to genuinely love dogs...however, my dog has been injured there so many times I'm beginning to wonder if they are even watching the dogs. Not one time did anyone point out an injury to me. When ever I would question what had happened, no one could ever give me answer. In addition to the high daycare fees, I have spent 100's of dollars on vet care needed because of these injuries, including office visits, stitches and antibiotics to prevent infection of wounds (only once - after complaining, did they comp the vet fees). I understand that animals are just that, animals...and they play rough sometimes, but I can leave my dog in a field full of other dogs and walk away for free...I pay them to watch her and make sure she is in a safe environment. If at any time there was a reason why she should not be attending, they should have let me know. I feel their greatest concern is money, not the well-being of the beloved pets, who are like children to many of the people who bring them there. I will not be bringing my dog back to this place because of all of the incidents that have occured, the last a "trauma wound" on her neck that was so swollen she couldn't wear a collar for three days, but went unnoticed by staff. After all of these incidents, I would have to blame myself if something really serious happened. Maybe my situation is an isolated one, I hope so for the sake of the other dogs who go there.

watch out for hidden charges. do not give your credit card number unless the employee explains exactly what will be charged on your card. then get a second opinion from another employee to make sure the first employee has it correct. also, take down the name and time of the person you spoke with. the customer is always wrong. get ready for an attitude if you question anything.
Cons: expensive, unfair charges

I left my dog at Town and Country because I came in town for a family social event, and there would be no one at the house to care for him. I dropped him off on Saturday morning (because the kennel closes at 12 noon). The kennel staff advised me that they only opened for one hour for pick up on Sunday from 4 pm until 5 pm, so I was there at 4 pm sharply and picked up my dog. When I got ready to pay for my bill, I was given a total for two days. When I inquired about the balance, I was told, that I had to pay for Sunday as well. I couldn't understand why, because if I could have picked my dog up earlier that morning, I would have, but I couldn't becaue of their hours of pick up, so I relunctantly paid the balance owed. After leaving the kennel, I inspected my dogs belongings, and found a bag of dry dog food (that I had asked them to give him that Sunday morning ), was still in his bag. This led me to believe that no one comes in on Sunday mornings to feed the animals. I stopped down the road a little ways to let my dog out so that he could use the bathroom, (and because it had just stopped raining, there were puddles everywhere). My dog jumped out the car, and headed right for a rain puddle, and immediately started drinking from it!!! Of course I wouldn't let him, and waited until I arrived home to give him fresh water. He drank two full bowls of water when we arrived home!! I'm not sure if he was not given water, or had it, and refused to drink it. However, to close, I would have to say that my time at the social event the night before was a much better time than my dog had a the Town and Country kennel.
Pros: Nice Staff
Cons: Horrible hours, Unfair charges.

We took our animals here to be groomed and when we needed to have them take care of while we were on vacation. Our pets always came home in wonderful shape and they never seemed to be scared to go back. They were able to groom my mother's very nervous shih tzu without problems as well. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good place to take their pets!

until my dog died last year, we always had Ellen groom him once a month. (He was feisty when we tried to trim his nails!) She always took care of him as if he were her own, and towards the end of his life was extra gentle. After a grooming session, he would always prance out with a new bandanna around his neck!
Good price for a basic groom, tight querters in the lobby; especially at pick-up time, but worth it! Highly recommend!
