We literally had to leave because the upstairs bathroom was leaking through the ceiling tiles onto our table....the staff said it was condensation from pipes, but regulars confirmed Gary Serum has Roto-Rooter out quite often for the sewer problem....I also heard a customer complain to his partner Doc about the issue, and he said "It's just sewer water"....WTF.....I guess they know about the problem, but they are too cheap to fix it.....Gary would rather sit at his bar and get drunk I guess. Ask anybody that was there Friday night 4-24-09....that is why you could not get seated. Pros: Wings Cons: sewer leaking on your food!!!!!!!

I have been to many wing places in the Greater Twin Cities but this is the best. They have amazing flavors and lots of them. Out of the 10 times I have been their the wing were only slightly over cooked once. It is worth the trip to anoka, especially if you thing Sweeny's or Rynon's has good wing. The BBQ is better than any other. They combine it with Chernobyl to make my favorite mix. I have never had bad services but I don't think that is the strong point here. The patio is great in the summer. The sampler is great but the wings could be larger. They are BW3 sized. You can't beat the flavor. Pros: Wing, towny place, patio, wings Cons: small wings, a bit crazy

I usually am not a passionate enough person even if the food is bad to actually write a review at all. This is an exception because I found the TRI-suck of minnesota. Not only was our food lacking terribly, but we got it late and the server seemed to have been released after greeting us and did not inform the other servers that we existed THEN the owner Mr. Serum was nothing but arrogant and annoyed when approaching our table for, what we thought, was suppose to be an apology. He apparently has a sick case of HUGE FISH LITTLE POND syndrome. In his case, this pond was his scummy watering hole known as Serums. NEVER AGAIN. Pros: were not there anymore Cons: we added to there revenue

If you like fruit flies buzzing around your food and drink, wait staff and bartenders that treat you like yesterdays garbage with their bad attitudes, laziness and inability to relate to you as a customer. If you like shady characters making shady deals right next to you at the bar. And if you like a mixture of regulars that treat new patrons like your an alien from another planet, then Serums is the place for you. And by the way, I wouldn't walk across the street for their wings or any of their food for that matter after you see the filthy kitchen and sweaty cooks that produce that garbage!!!

I have to say that the wings at Serums Good Time Emporium are the best wings around! I have tried to find better ones I like elsewhere and can't. There are so many different flavors to choose from, I can;t pick just one. I introduced my Sister to her Husbund there a few years back and we still make it there( the 4 of us) as much as possible for our wings and beer night out. They are an hour away, so sometimes I have to order some without them. I do wish they had better seating and served bottle beer upstairs, but we still go. Tonight we're ordering a big amount for new years and sit home and pig out! Chris V.
