I recieved a gift card for my birthday from my husband. I travel alot for my business and have been to numorous spas around the country. Upon calling the spa to schedule an appointment, I spoke with a receptionist (Lynn) that was very patient and informative with the varitey of services that they offer there. I finally decided on having a Marine Wrap, Facial and Pedicure. When I arrived, there was a table filled with all sorts of wonderful treats including chocolate dipped strawberries. Heaven!!! In the few minutes that I waited for my appointments to begin, I noticed the care with which each customer was treated and recieved by salon staff. The marine wrap was in this water capsule and the service took my breath away. The facial was the best I'd ever had...literally and the pedicure was phenomenal. Thanks aafusion for a wonderful birthday experience. I will be back!!! Pros: Front desk staff, chocolate covered strawberries, parking Cons: NONE

Went for an impulse cut and got a terrible hack-job on my hair! The right side was perfect, but the left was not. A huge chunk was cut out. I went to my regular stylist at another salon and got it all cut off. It's much better now. A professional charging $50 should've have known better. Also, I had very long, thick hair and the shampoo, cut and style should've taken over 35 minutes. Pros: Friend liked her stylist Cons: I did not like my stylist!

I'm a Certified Massage Therapist and I'm EXTREMELY picky about the bodywork I receive. Having 100+ massages in my life, I've truly experienced a vast range of skill, professionalism, customer service and ambiance. Regardless of my extreme skepticism, Aafusion completely exceeded all expectations. The attention to detail is impeccable. The service is personal, warm, and attentive. The quality and innate skill of the massage was beyond fantastic. (I saw Karen, who went WAY above and beyond and whose skill was immeasurable!!) A soak in the hydrotherapy tub before my massage was recommended to me, and though I'd never experienced one before and I usually hate whirlpools and saunas, I instantly fell in love. It was unbelievable just how much it loosened and relaxed me in about 10 minutes -- very therapeutic! Leaving the spa pain-free and soothed allowed me to decompress and detox in ways I could never have imagined. This was unlike anything I've ever experienced and I look forward to returning for more! Pros: Massage Therapy. Hydrotherapy Tub. Overall warmth, attention to detail and customer care. Cons: No dressing rooms, lockers, or showers. Fairly high prices. No frequent-buyer programs. Uneducated front desk person -- couldn't answer specific questions regarding spa offerings.

Wow I must say I am glad I found Mary at Aafusion Spa Salon. She has the best massage with her pedicure. And her polish techniques are picture perfect. She polished liked she owned the OPI company, such professional techniques. She had no clean up to do after polishing, like some pedicures I have had before polish on the cuticle, and on my toes. She was very warm and caring but yet efficient and professional all wrapped with a little southern draw. My toes looked so smooth and silky my skin felt awesome after the glospa salt scrub. She even got the dry skin and callouses off of my feet. Her massage was out of this world, it was very relaxing pedicure. I wondered if she was a undercover massage therapist. She got the sore knots out of the bottom of my feet and rubbed my lower leg, paying close attention to my toes and yes even between the toes. As some techs have left out in the past. Then we went on to my acrylic nails, I wanted them to look natural. As in the past I have been to cheaper places where they place a tip on, she did something unique placing something around my finger. Building the nail on top of it as a artist at work. One by one with each nail was built with character for my individual finger. She assured me they would look natural , professional and beautiful. She didn't hurt me as in the past I have been hurt (terrrified) by drills. During this process she asked if anything makes you feel uncomfortable please let me know . Wow I was impressed some techs could careless if they hurt you. At the end of my nail service there was hardly no filling, she had built an elegant professional beautiful set of nails signatured for my fingers only. WOW what a Nail Artist she is, she will see me again for sure. Thank you Mary and Aafusion. I must mention they have a wonderful staff and the spa is beautiful. Its always perfect and clean!!!! I would highly recommend it. Pros: Very nice warm atmosphere for a spa/salon where it is about you an they really care!!! They know your first name when you walk thru the door. This was the perfect spa experience. A few weeks ago I was researching web sites to find a spa to take my best friend to as a surprise for her 65th birthday. Since I live in Arkansas, I had to do it on the web. Well, as you can see, aafusion's web site is beautiful. I called for information and spoke with Katie. When I told her that I was driving to MN to surprise my friend for her birthday, she said "let us take care of everything"...so, I booked the appointments and asked if she needed my credit card and she said "no, you can pay after the services, we are just happy you are coming to see us". Well, when we arrived at the address in a strip mall, I was a bit apprehensive...but the minute we walked through the door I knew that I had made the right choice. The spa is elegant while being welcoming. The staff was friendly, interested in our experience and made us very comfortable. Since we were there on a Monday, they even called in two special stylists on their days off, to do our manicures, pedicures and hair. Our massages were exceptional (thank you Karen) and the facials the best (thank you Katie). The whole experience was equal to our experience of a few years ago at the Grand Wailea Spa on Maui. Between services we were served stemmed glasses of ice water, cheese and crackers and chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate dipped pretzel sticks. A nice touch. Our services were scheduled so that we could spend time together to catch up (I was only able to be in MN for two days). Best of all, the staff made my friend's birthday as special as she is. I was still reveling in the exceptional experience when my husband and I drove back to Arkansas the next day, and I am looking forward to my next trip to MN so that I can return to this beautiful place and try the hydrotherapy soak! Aafusion is one of the best kept secrets around. It is not a very visible location, kind of hidden in the Aurora shopping center, but you have to go there to know what I'm talking about. The inside is gorgeous and elegant. It has a very relaxing atmosphere and all the staff I've met has been nothing but warm and friendly to me whenever I go there. Everything is top notch from the hair design to nails. My absolute favorite however and what keeps me coming back again and again is the facials from Anna and the best massages in the Twin Cities from Jenni. Ask for them and you'll wonder why you ever went anywhere else! Pros: MASSAGE! Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere! Cons: Convenient location, but kind of hard to find

Wow--is the first thing you think of when you enter this spa-tastic salon/spa. When you walk in the door, the first thing you feel is --oh, I am in comfort, now I can relax. And relax is what you do. You are pampered from head to toe- if you let them -in this oh -so- wonderful new spa and salon in Burnsville. The DREAMSPA is simply amazing....have a cellulite treatment in there if you can! It is AWESOME! Hats off to you AAFUSION, you are the best! And your team is amazing too! Keep up the good work. Pros: parking---there is plenty, service, and atmosphere Cons: none....absolutely none.
