New York Pizza Depot (NYPD to its fans) is located at 605 East William in Ann Arbor.
This is pizza at its greasy best, just like we used to get in New Jersey (actually better) down to the parmesean cheese in the case that can be sprinkled on later.
They even have garlic knots.
The entrees are good as well, as are the salads, but the star of this opera is pizza, available stuffed or topped with an array of specialties.
The stuffed eggplant pizza is excellent, and the mushroom, garlic and mediterreanean pizzas.
New seating helps accomodate a large lunchtime crowd.

Ann Arbor Hands On Museum is one of the best museums in the country. It is absoluetly fabulous for class field trips. Their is a ton of things for the children to do. The parents are also kept very interested. To top it off, the staff is very helpful in planning the trip. The cost is reasonable. I love this museum!

Middle Earth, located at 1209 South University Street, contains a fantastic selection of cards, one of the best anywhere.
It also has a large collection of novelty gifts, t-shirts, buttons and bumper sticks.
On its other half, it sells jewelry and clothing.
This is just a fun store to walk around in, and I go there when I need a birthday card for everyone from my grandmother to my cat.
Its items can be a little pricey.

This is an old-school locksmith. When you walk in, everything seems old fashioned and out of date, but it's actually a pretty cool place. They know their stuff too. I used to work downtown and would walk there to get keys made, etc. Staff was always friendly. Parking could be difficult if something was going on downtown or on a weekend, etc.

Casey's has great burgers, onion rings and my favorite, french dip. After a few times there, the staff knew my order. The bar has a very old fashioned feel to it that I prefer over the trendy nature of other bars.
Pros: The burgers, the staff
