Stucchi's is quite simply the best ice cream in town. Even after Ben & Jerry's moved in right next door, the only time you ever see people in B & J's is when the Stucchi's line is out the door and some poor fool is in too much of a hurry to wait for really good ice cream! The ice cream cakes are also quite good, and they will make one on very short notice! Stucchi's also offers several very good soups in the winter, including a chicken noodle soup that almost tastes homemade. All the prices are quite fair. Don't forget to stop by both locations on your birthday for a free scoop (at each) of your favorite flavor!

Okay, I haven't been to Ann Arbor in awhile, so I hope I can still say that Stucchi's is serving up the best ice cream in town. Sure, big bad Ben & Jerry's might have moved in RIGHT NEXT DOOR (how's that for arrogance?), but Stucci's has the local edge. The ice cream is good and the flavors are unique. The staff is usually friendly teenagers.

Just like Zingerman's Deli in Kerrytown, Stucchi's is an Ann Arbor institution that cannot be missed. Founded by two Ann Arbor brothers, the ice creams are made right in town, out on Jackson Road. The Smushins are a specialty, but everything is great! Definitely rivals anything put out by Ben and Jerry's.

Stucchi's is a great place to go for ice cream in Ann Arbor because they have a great selection of flavors and all of the ice cream tastes great. It doesn't feel like you're just going and getting store bought ice cream, it feels special and different. There's a huge variety, and the price is great. They give a good amount of ice cream for what they charge so it's a great deal. What's also nice about Stucchi's is that they have a ton of seating in doors and they have chess and checker boards available to just sit around and play. They have up beat music always playing so you feel like you want to just sit around and talk with your friends.
