While the size of the building may seem impressive for the Ann Arbor area....more than 20 stories of apartments...University Towers is anything but grand. Though the location is great (right on the corner of South U and Forest), the apartments tend to be small and over priced. If you want nicer furniture you have to pay an extra $50/month to live on one of the highest floors...otherwise you're stuck with living room furniture that looks like it's from a dentist's office. The work out area is full of antiquated equipment...and the pool is ever usable...so just be warned that the list of amenities used to sell the place aren't all they're cracked up to be. The one nice thing about U Towers is that there is a front desk where packages are held and rent can be paid...so that is convenient. It is also comforting that there is a buzzer intercom system and a doorman during the after hours when the front desk is closed. There are also a few study rooms off of the lobby as well as a large screen television.

So originally I posted a glowing review but after living there for almost a year my apartment has been full of drama - the latest was a flood. Once everything is settled I may provide a better review, but I didn't feel right leaving them at a four given the current state of my apartment and the manner in dealing with the company at this point.
Edited: Well everything is settled now and I feel much better about the situation. It was a hassle overall, but they dealt with the problems and resolved the situation rather quickly after the initial problems I had with them.

Funky atmosphere, good music and freindly staff with lots of experience. full line of beauty products and hair stuff available for sale. plaenty of parking and they are open every day of the week. also have evening hours. highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience selling my condo through Martin. I have worked with Realtors before who didn't have enough time for me, etc. and it was very frustrating! Martin has a large team of employees and met all my needs. they even lend you a moving truck if you need it! All my questions were answered and i felt secure in every move that the team made.

I used Lisa as my buyers agent, she works for Prudential, Snyder and Co. She did a great job meeting all my needs and never tried to 'bully' me into doing anything. she was very patient and explained all forms and procedures very well. No charge if she is your buyers agaent, but she lists homes too! She was very helpful at closing too!
