At the time my sixteen year old cousin was ready to drive I just couldn’t bear being the one to teach her. Fortunately I was referred to the A-2 wall driver school down in ann arbor. They were able to get her all set up with a knowledgeable driver trainer who taught her the rules of the road and she hasn’t been in a crash since. What a great school!

I put my teenager through All Star and I have to say I am very pleased with them. My son had a great time in class and the activities were interesting for the students. Drivers Ed is a lot of money these days, but All Star was well worth it. The students get to keep their book, they learn through games and activities, like the All Star Board Game, and they are very flexible with our schedules. Some of Andrews friends took Drivers Ed elsewhere and did nothing but complain about how boring it was, and how dull the teachers were. I'm so glad I went with the All Star program, we will definitely go back for the second portion.

I am new to crocheting and I wanted to make a hat for my aunt. The staff helped me choose appropriate needles and yarn and were very kind and helpful. I would recommend this place to others who are new to working with yarn and need some guidance.

David's books features a wide selection of used, out-of-print, and rare books. It's a great resource that not many cities have. Becareful though, this jewel of the city is nestled between a lunch eatery and gigantic Borders books and music, so you have to look hard to find it. Once you ascend the stairway you're greeted by a friendly staff (David) and piles upon piles of books. Just ask him though because David knows about his books as if he wrote each and every one of them. Next time you head down to borders, check out David's books instead. You won't regret it.

Gretchens House II, located at 721 Mount Pleasant in Ann Arbor, is in the center of the old westside neighborhood and close to Eberwhite elementary school.
It is a small house, which you can miss if you are not looking for its distinctive yellow color.
The infant room is excellent - they have a caring and devoted staff who provide lots of nurturing for little babies.
The toddler room downstairs is also good, with a large back yard to give the kids a chance to test their new walking and running skills.

Gretchens House 3, located on 1745 West Stadium is part of the Gretchens House empire in Ann Arbor.
The staff is really caring, and they plan great activities for kids, including yoga, gardening, language lessons and bug viewing.
They also do wonderful art projects, displayed at many local businesses, incldunig Zingermans and Washtenaw Dairy.
Our child has made many good friends there.

I have to admit that I am a Mac person. That gives this place my first positive vote. I have not had to use the repair services so many times because most of my Macs have not needed much repair, but the times that I have brought one it, it has been swiftly and effectively repaired. I bring all my Applecare warranty work to this place and I even brought an iBook in to have the hard drive upgraded.
And I have bought a Mac or two here and more than a few peripherals. The sales people are friendly and not too hard sell.

The moment we got engaged (actually, months before when we were talking), we knew we wanted our reception (and as it turned out, our wedding ceremony) at the Michigan League Ballroom. As two U-M grads, we knew it would have the elegance and the high-quality we were looking for. They did not disappoint, and went above and beyond as a few curve balls where thrown at us in the process. The food is great, the service superb and the building is beautiful.
