I put my teenager through All Star and I have to say I am very pleased with them. My son had a great time in class and the activities were interesting for the students. Drivers Ed is a lot of money these days, but All Star was well worth it. The students get to keep their book, they learn through games and activities, like the All Star Board Game, and they are very flexible with our schedules. Some of Andrews friends took Drivers Ed elsewhere and did nothing but complain about how boring it was, and how dull the teachers were. I'm so glad I went with the All Star program, we will definitely go back for the second portion.

What a great time my kid had at All Star this summer! The instructors were excellent, and very patient with my child, which is exactly what he needed. He told me that the classes were very interesting and he really enjoyed the games and activities that the instructor had them playing. He even said something about this hilarious character Captain Driver's Ed? I don't know, but as long as my child had a good time, and has learned how to be a safe driver, that's all that matters to me!

That is All Star in a word- unprofessional. The class rooms are horribly overcrowded and class is boring. You go there for two hours and you only really do an hour's worth of material. They do NOT prepare you at all for the test on the final day of class, nor do they take any responsibility when their students fail. On your first day of driving, they stick you into the car and expect you to know how to drive. The instructors are okay, with the exception of Tim from the Brighton location who is rude and impatient. He seems to have forgotten that students go there to LEARN how to drive. He also forgets that everything they do is completely new to them and that they might make mistakes in the process. The only part about All Star that I liked was Captain Driver's ed. If I could, I would have never picked All Star for driver's ed. It was a waste of my time, happiness, and money.

Our daughter has attended Phase 1 at All Star Driver Education, and we have found the instructor to be excellent as far as teaching her the basics of how to be a good, safe driver. I would reccomend this driving school to anyone in the Howell area. The classes were taught at Cleary College, and the kids really did learn a lot. They provided our daughter with ample time behind the wheel, and now I hardly ever scream and clutch the door handle while driving with her! (Just kidding)
If I remember correctly the price was about $300 for her driving instruction. A little expensive, but I feel that she has been well prepared for the road, and any emergencies that may arise. The class size was small, and we liked that.
I don't know why this guy doesn't have more grey hair LOL.
PROS: Good instruction, ample class and driving time, individual attention
CONS: A little expensive, but worth it
