You can rent pedalling boat or canoe here and have some fun pedalling in the Huron river. If the weather is good, there will be lots of people around here. The price is like $8.00 for 30 minutes rental. It's okay. The only complaint is no lifee guard here. You only have a lifevest to protect you.

Gallup Park is a great place to go if you're looking to have a picnic with friends and then go canoing on the Huron River. While Gallup Park doesn't have the wide open spaces that The Arb has, it has a rental place where you can grab a canoe and jump on the water. While it may cost you $40 or more to rent a canoe somewhere else, at Gallup Park it's much cheaper and affordable for students to go and take a lazy ride on the river. It's a good time for everyone during the summer with beautiful scenery. It's worth a look if you're looking to do something different with your days in Ann Arbor.
