The Brown Jug Restaurant and Bar has been open since 1936 and has been serving the University of Michigan College populations since then. They have very good food inluding, but not limited to Uncle Pat's Famous Pizza, pasta, salads, chicken, sandwiches, burgers and omlettes. They do have a full service bar with over 100 liquors and 10 draft beers. They offer daily food and bar specials. They also have 10 tvs for watching athletic events. This is a great hang out for you and your friends.

The Brown Jug has a lot of sentimental value for many University of Michigan Alum. The Jug has pictures of all sorts of University of Michigan athletes and events and all of this nostalgia adds character to the place. My friends and I would frequent the Jug for the great drink specials. What's nice about the Jug is that you don't have to wait till late in the evening to get a decent drink specials. The drink specials last till 11 p.m. and the drinks taste great. The food is great as well. The Hamburgers and Jug Fries are quite popular, but the menu has many options. The Jug plays cool music and it's a fun place to sit around and grab a drink.
