The ambiance of the Depot was excellent. The food was suberb in all areas. Their extensive wine list and server assistance contributed to our fine dining experience. I would highly reccommend the Gandy Dancer for fresh seafood. The pastry Chef is to be congratulated on her excellent creations.

Paesano's is a little like going to Italy. All the flavor, but not the travel. The food is amazing. We were there for my daughter and future son-in-law rehearsal dinner. Everything from the salads to the desserts were outstanding. The staff went out of their way to make sure even the children had special meals that night.
It is very easy to find, has lots of parking, but can be very busy, so you may want to call ahead.

Weber's Inn is a hotel and restuarant. It would be considered fine dining,a nd they are known for thier prime rib. I ahven't slept in the hotel in years, but i belive the rooms are also very nice..just not cheap. They have a pool which is nice for kids. The restaurant also has a very cool bar area and they feature live music on the weekends. It gets quite a mix of people, from young to old out there dancing and having a good time!

Creekside Grill is a really nice restaurant on Jackson Ave. It is easy to find and has good parking. The staff is usually fast and friendly. They also have a bar in the building.
The food here is very good, but pricey! They have steaks and seafood, Pasta dishes, Salads, Sandwiches and Angus Burgers. The burgers are really good. It is a nice atmosphere, but like the other review, the smoke from the bar can come in the restaurant.

Cottage Inn is great if you're going with a group of friends for a fun dinner - lots of seating, so usually not a long wait at all. The pizza is tasty (they have thin, gourmet, and even deep dish), but there's also a whole selection of pastas and sandwiches. I had the Gourmet Vegetarian Pizza was it was absolutely delicious - and according to the menu, healthy too!

I stayed at this hotel while visiting the UNiversity of Michigan. It is in an ideal location, right at the end of State Street, in the center of town. It is walking distance from tons of clothing stores, book stores, University stores, cafes, and restaurants. I HIGHLY recommend staying at this nice hotel.

My mom and I went to Damon's for lunch. They have a 15 minute or free lunch deal going on, plus we had a coupon for buy one lunch get one lunch free, so we tried it. I got a 1/2 sandwich and baked potato and my mom got the 1/2 sandwich and salad. Both the sandwiches were below average. The meat inside wasn't even hot and it was very small. The potato was great, but I wouldn't get their sandwiches. Good thing we had a coupon!

You can still taste the freezer in their crab legs...great place for families, ok place for the seafood. If you want crab legs, go to Meijers and buy some from the fish monger and beer with the money you save!
