There are two kinds of housing in Willowtree Apartment, garden styles and tower styles. The towers styles are cheaper, but you have to pay for the gas. The garden styles are better looking, and also it includes the gas. They changed a new manager this year, so they are innovating all the housings. The first two buildings of garden styles have internet, gas, electricity, cable TV included in rent. Also, they have new computer labs and game room this year. A nice new try if you are looking for housing in Ann Arbor.

This rental building looks like an old hotel, especially when you are in the hallway. The air-conditioner is not good. Very noisy but not efficient. During the winter, the gas is not very good, either. The swimming pool is small and only open during summer time. The weigh room might be the only pros. Walking distance to University and bus stop.

So originally I posted a glowing review but after living there for almost a year my apartment has been full of drama - the latest was a flood. Once everything is settled I may provide a better review, but I didn't feel right leaving them at a four given the current state of my apartment and the manner in dealing with the company at this point.
Edited: Well everything is settled now and I feel much better about the situation. It was a hassle overall, but they dealt with the problems and resolved the situation rather quickly after the initial problems I had with them.

I lived in this complex for 2 years and didn't have any problems, with the exception of having a unit that was by the highway, which caused quite a bit of noise, but you couldn't change that. I had wonderful neighbors who were quiet and friendly. Nice outdoor pool in the summer and an indoor one in the clubhouse. Very affordable for the city of Ann Arbor.

This rental apartment was built in 1990. It is a quite new apartment in Ann Arbor. Not in the walking distance to Univsity though. It may not be suitable for students. Besides, the rent is a little higher. However, there are washer and dryer inside each apartment. Very convenient since you don't need to walk out to the laundry room in the winter time.

Ann Arbor Realty is the absolute worst in a college town full of slum lords. Everyone has a problem with them. The bigger they are the worse they are and Ann Arbor Realty is huge. They are notorious for bringing nuisance suits against students. BEWARE!!!!!!
