Pinball Pete’s is an Ann Arbor staple. You will find tons of youths getting down to the great sounds of a pinball arcade at this fine establishment. My favorite game at this arcade is the Guns and Roses pinball machine. Other great machines include the Adams Family Pinball machine. The variety here is unmatched.

This is my all time favorite park in Ann Arbor. There is so much to do here, and its a great place to take the family or go for some quiet time to yourself. Great for exercising as well. They have endless paths, that are often full of bike riders and joggers. BBQ's and pavilions are also available, and you can also rent out canoe's and paddle boats. Some days it can be hard to find parking, but you could alsways park at the high school across the street if need be. Playgournds fo rkids, and dog friendly!! A wonderful place!

Ann Arbor District libraries have numerous branches around Ann Arbor. You can return your books or DVDs to any branch. Sometimes if you return to University libraries by accident, the University library will help return them back. So, there is no worry about returning library properties. They have good collections of DVDs. You can reserve movie DVDs onlines and choose the branch where you want to pick up. Very convenient

After spending the summer in NYC, the first thing I did after moving back to Ann Arbor was visit the Arb. It's a beautiful place to go for a walk or have a picnic. I've always loved the arb but I have a greater appreciation for it after only having Central Park for the summer, which is nice but so artificial and unnatural being in the middle of a polluted city. Autumn is my favorite time to visit.

This is a great place to work out and is convenient. The place gets PACKED after work and on weekends. It's almost a little annoying when it's busy like that. I took a aerobic kick boxing class and really likes it. They let you pay 'by the class' and you don't have to but a full membership if you are a Washtenaw County resident. Lots of equipment available, a great track and cool staff as well.

I absolutely LOVED this place. They helped me out when I had no medical insurance and needed help for a personal problem (injury). I didn’t want to go to the U of M Hospital or anything like that because I wanted a more hands-on treatment. They really showed me how to treat my body and how to avoid future accidents.

Best golf club in Ann Arbor, next to the U of M course. I’ve been to many in the Michigan area, but Lake Forest has a great staff and good rental supplies. The greens are manicured day in and day out by a knowledgeable greens keeper (it’s truly a science that they take very seriously in Michigan). I love it!

Veterans memorial park and pool is located at 2150 Jackson Road. It includes a pool with kids area and waterslide, an ice arena, an outdoor pool and exercise room.
Nobody likes this pool except me - it seems like everyone else in Ann Arbor goes to Buhr or Fuller pools.
But what I like about it is that it is relatively uncrowded, my wife can exercise while the rest of the family swims, and the lifeguards are very attentive.
The waterslide is also a refreshing way to end your swim!

Las Vegas park, located on Las Vegas St. near West Stadium in Ann Arbor, is a small neighborhood park that is perfect for families.
The playground area is new and features a wonderful play structure for kids.
The soccer fields were recently redone, with berms added to keep the soccer balls out of the street.
A newly added water fountain, complete with a doggie level fountain, has also helped the parks popularity with dogs (and the occasional toddler).

More
Allmendinger Park is located on Pauline in Ann Arbor, Michigan, just to the southwest of the downtown area, and in the midst of the old west side of Ann Arbor.
The park's enormous trees provide shade for children to play.
There are slides, swings, picnic areas, softball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts and restrooms at the park.
Kids love to come to the park in the evening, play on the swings or climber, then watch adults playing softball from the bleachers.
We want the green swing back!
