We had a kitchen and 2 bathrooms done by this company. The quality of their workers are excellent. Installation work is top notch. However: 1 - Price escalates w/ Change Orders. They will give you a low ball quote, and then slap you with all sorts of change orders that are inflated. This is where they make the most money. So beware of this practice when hiring this company 2 - Will not provide door handles to the cabinets. During negotiations, they assured that they will put in the cabinet door handles we purchased. Then wanted to charge additional for the labor. So you will end up with cabinets with no door handles 3. Works excruciatingly slow. For weeks, we only had 1 worker for our project 4. Provides low quality materials for your projects.

I had Steinhorst install a replacement water heater in my house. We subsequently encountered problems (not related to Steinhorst's initial installation) that necessitated extensive repairs to my carpet and additional plumbing work. Steinhorst followed through and worked hard to make everything as right as they could. Their technician, CJ, was outstanding, and their carpet people, under the direction of Mr. Lee, were also excellent. What could have turned out to have been a very unhappy experience became instead one in which we, as customers, were fully satisfied.

I had a furnace/AC installed a while back with them. They did an good job as far as I could tell but nothing above and beyond the call of duty. The workers didn't speak any English so communication was a little tough but I guess that's par for the course around here. The guy on the phones was acting like he was trying to get me off as soon as possible which was annoying but he wasn't necessarily rude.

The work was fine, a little on the expensive side, but fine. However, the customer service was awful. Craig, the guy who answers the phones, is rude and acts like he's too busy to give you the time of day. The instructions I gave about contacting the tenant to gain entrance to the home was ignored both times and then I was treated like I was an idiot for not being there to open the door. As a lifelong Annandale resident, I didn't want to believe other reviews about how Steinhorst has gone down the tubes after changing ownership, but it's true. Save yourself the aggrevation having Craig treat you like a burden rather than a paying customer. There are plenty of better plumbing companies out there.
