Anyone who has a chance to eat at the Marx Brothers and passes it up is missing a really special meal. The food is simply remarkable. This is a small intimate place in a rather small old house just off the inlet. Try the Cesar Salad. It is a bit more "in-your-face" than some. But I find it delicious. There are no entrées on menu that I have tried that were not superb. Depending on the season, the fish dishes can be outstanding. Of course, so is the lamb...and so is the veal. While they have an array of tantalizing desserts, I prefer the cheese plate (notably blue) with a glass of port. Let them recommend the port. And speaking of wines, I am sure that they have one of the best or possibly the best wine selection in Alaska. You are dealing with some folks that have a VERY good handle on quality wines. In brief, this is one of those destination places.
