There were Disney characters in Goofy's Kitchen. You have to pay $27.00 a plate to see your characters, but $35.00 for dinner each person. Many people especially children do take pictures with their favorite character. This restaurant would have recommended for families and children under the age of 12, I would also recommend this restaurant for adults too. For birthday parties are recommended for children under the age of 10.

Goofy's kitchen was a tremendous amount of fun, It is a buffet style resturant, We went for lunch there were 9 characters roaming around they did tease the kids and spend time with each one, make sure and buy an autograph book before going in though odds are you will never see some of those characters again, The food was okay nothing special that you wont see at anyother buffet in town other then some of it is shaped like a mouse It was very pricey $27 a person the food wasnt that good but you are also paying for the atmosphere.

For a special occasion one place you should try is Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel. Goofy's kitchen offers an awesome character dining experience. The food at Goofy's kitchen is not what you would expect at a regular buffet. You get a great selection of "REAL" dishes. Omelets made to order, quiches, roast beef, ham etc.. the pastries are to die for. For the little ones there are mickey shaped EVERYTHING and the best Peanut Butter and Jelly Pizza. Character will come out throughout your meal for picture opportunities and autograph requests. The characters like to take their time at your table and will really work to make your child's experience a good one.
