Always alot of parents in the parking lot at the end of the night picking up their kids, so this shows other parents share my sentiment

Good fun environment, no liquor and fun crowd. Chance to see heavy metal band Happy Hanna and their lead guitarist fire up the audience. We'll have to pay a lot more to see this band soon. Lots of other fresh sounds too.
Easy to get to on Lincoln west of the 5 and plenty of other clubs nearby to visit afterwards.
Pros: good crowd, not unruly and scary
Cons: no liquor.

I used to frequent this venue in high school, when I could catch three bands a night and recognize most of the members as my peers. That should say it all. Chain Reaction is high schoolers toying with the idea of rock n' roll and bands whose musical taste buds never matured past pubescence. The sound mix typically does nothing to cover up sour notes and mumbled punk lyrics.

Small place to see a show and concert prices are pretty cheap often times under $10. For the shows I've been to, I've been able to buy tickets at the door so I avoid paying the hefty TicketBastard fees. It's located in a strip mall. Parking oftentimes can be full in the lot, but I've been able to park on the street in front of the car dealership. Shows there can be really quite literally hot . I don't think there's an A/C so you and the band will be quite sweaty after a show.

This venue is a bit smaller than most of the other places I've gone. Capacity is probably no more than 300 if I remember correctly perhaps a bit more. 2 sided floor one for the concert and the other mainly to walk around and to stand and watch instead of joining any mini-pits or people jumping around to musc. And also on the entrance side of the floor is a bar. Overall, good place to rock out in. Enjoyable! Great setup nonetheless. People are generally nice and friendly.

A nice place because it's rather small, and the rules are generally too strict for a punk rock venue. Absolutely no ins and outs, no backpacks and no stagediving. The staff is sometimes quite rude compared to other venues and the parking is horrible. I guess management isn't totally to blame, as chain reaction tends to draw an often young and rude crowd which sometimes makes shows somewhat unbearable. There have been many decent shows in the past few years, but ticket prices are mainly too high compared to places like koos and the smell.

Chain Reaction is a local music club located in Anaheim. While on the outside it may seem a bit sketchy, once you go inside and start rocking out it is a blast. Many famous bands play at Chain Reaction such as Fall Out Boy, The Early November, and Senses Fail. However, I'd suggest going for local shows otherwise it will be packed. Prices are very cheap too($8-$12 usually), considering the amount of fun you have.

The Chain Reaction is a little known place in the corner of Anaheim. Located in obscurity amidst rug galleries and repair shops, it is a diamond in the rough. Home of unsung heroes of the scene like Hellogoodbye and Phantom Planet, Chain Reaction is always playing beats that'll make people dance. One of the coolest thing about the place is that all along the walls are band shirts that are stapled into the wall. All in all, a great experience.
