it's okay chinese food. cheap and w/ msg probably, but it satisfies the hunger for americanized chinese food. they've got your normal selection of chinese food, but i particularly like thier egg rolls. it is really close to hampshire college and umass.

This is a really interesting place – even if you’ve never heard of Yiddish. The building reminds me of a Polynesian village from the outside. Admission is free – donations are welcome. Once inside you can take the self guided tour which includes an intriguing video introduction. The outside grounds are beautiful. This is a great spot for a summer picnic.

This place is the best place to order wings, boneless or on the bone. They have like a million different flavors such as honey bbq, bbq, honey mustard, lemon pepper, teryaki, jamaican jerk, and so much more. They also have different levels of buffalo spicy-ness. The boneless wings are made of white meat, and are huge pieces! The on the bone wings are also very good, but it takes a little more effort to eat - but some people prefer them on the bone. It's up to you. I like all the flavors, they are all tasty. Delivery is fast too. They will call you when they are like one minute away, so you can just come down to wait for them and pay. My college weight gain is probably due to wings at midnight a couple times a week.

Watroba's Liquor's is your typical small neighborhood package store. Their selection is somewhat limited, but if you're just going in for a 6-pack of beer, there is no reason to drive any further to another store. They're very good about checking ID's, especially with the number of college students that go there. The prices aren't bad, definitely comparable to any other local liquor store. I've never had a problem going there, and definitely wouldn't bother driving to another store further away. For a quick packie run, it's a great little store.

Video to Go is not the best pick if you live in the Amherst area. This video store is a smaller one than you will find out here, and really does not have the selection that other stores in the area do. They have new releases, but never the more obscure independent ones that I look for.

This is a local transportation service. There really aren’t a lot of taxi service options in town. They will do both short and long distance shuttle service. Most of there vehicles are 10 and 14 passenger vans. My experience with their service has always been very positive. I have often used them for transportation to and from Bradley International Airport. They have always shown up on time when I have made advance arrangements with them.
