I love Antonio's. Best pizza in town. They should be, that's all they do!! Fast courteous service with excellent food. They are always smiling no matter how busy the place gets. With the volume of customers in and out all day, it's amazing they don't mix up the orders, but they don't!! I have been going here for 2 years and would highly recommend them. more

antonio's pizza 4/14/2006

the pizza at antonio's is really gourmet and delicious. service is fast and good. the pizza is stone oven baked and made to perfection. the wings and salad there is also really great. i always order the wings though, they are my favorite. pricing is also relatively competitive and compared to the quality of food they have some really great deals. definitely a place to look into. more

antonio's 4/7/2006

anyone who has been to amherst, lived in amherst, or has heard of amherst - has known Antonio's pizza. a small little shop located on north pleasant street in amherst center is the most well known pizza joint. plus, the pizza is GREAT. there is a ton of different kinds, all fresh, and you can buy it buy the slice! for less than 3 bucks or so! they have spicy chicken, buffalo chicken, pesto pizza, and the original cheese pizza. all packed with great toppings and cheese, it is well worth it. at about 1am, after the bars close, antonio's is packed with a line out the door. but the line moves fast and it will satisfy anyone's craving! more

best pizza in amherst 3/23/2006

Antonios is a late night favorite for many college students living in and around Amherst. Nothing is better after a night at the Amherst bars then a slice of fresh mozzarella and basil pizza. During the day, its hard to get into the joint because it is so popular in Amherst. They sell pizza by the pie but mostly by the slice and it is affordable and delicious. more

Best Selection of Pizza in Town! 10/13/2005

This is honestly my favorite place in town to eat. The pizza is amazing, and there are so many varieties to choose from, sometimes it's hard to make up your mind. The staff is also great. They're fast and friendly and good with customers. In a place like Antonio's, you need to be. It's the perfect place to experience the college scene in Amherst, as it is one of the most popular places to eat among students. Their prices are also very reasonable, and the pizza is well worth it. If you go be sure to ask for an Antonio's card - after you buy 10 slices you can get a free slice of cheese pizza, or $1.50 towards a specialty slice. Once you try it, you'll keep going back for sure. more

Pizza you will NOT find anywhere else 9/9/2005

Antonio's...while it can be described in words, is an experience that can only be fully appreciated and understood by stopping by their store. Their pizza is like no other...not only in tase, but in variety. With combinations that have not ever been combined - but sooooo good, they have managed to hit a goldmine (clear by the block long line of students passing through their doors any Thursday, Friday or Saturday night). Their laid-back atmosphere only adds to the experience! more

Awesome Pizza in Amherst 8/16/2005

Antonio's Pizza has been around in Amherst for so long that if you come to visit the university of massachusetts, visiting the Antonio's Pizza place is a must. If you did not, then you missed a lot. They have all kind of delicious pizzas and it is just a great place to enjoy some fast food. You can almost always see a lot of people waiting there for getting their slices. more

every slice imaginable 8/15/2005

Antonio's has the most creative pizza toppings I've ever seen. I mean if someone were to suggest taco pizza to me, I might otherwise rebuff the idea, but at Antonio's, it's down right delicious. If you go once you have to go twice because you'll want to try all the different options. It's a small shop, so it can get a little crowded, especially late nights on weekends, so go at an off time so you can take your time deciding between all the slices! more

Best pizza in town 8/14/2005

You can not come to Amherst and not go to Antonio’s. The best pizza place around hands down. Most of what they sell is by the slice. They have the most intriguing topping combinations. I love the buffalo pizza. My husband orders the taco pizza. Gets a little crazy late night when the bars let out. more

Amazing Pizza 8/13/2005

I don't think they originate pizza by the slice, but they sure perfected it. Antonio's is one of the few pizza places that I know of that does not deliver. They are a little counter service restaurant with maybe 15-20 chairs. Yet they are always busy, even at 1 in the morning once the bars start clearing out. They have 40-50 types of pizza. You can either ask for a slice by name, or point. They toss it in the oven for a minute to heat it up, and you pay while waiting. All sorts of amazing toppings. I still don't know what I am eating, I just point to what looks good. Never have I been disappointed. You can order a full pie to go if you wish, but most people get a slice or two. The pieces are big and loaded with toppings, so one or two will fill most people up. Prices are reasonable, especially when you account for the size and quality. This is one of my must haves in the area. more

An Amherst Institution 8/12/2005

I know people who went to UMass many mant years ago who still talk about Antonio's. It doesn't look like much, just a tiny pizza shop where you have to stand to eat, but this tiny stand has the most amazing combinations of pizza. Barbeque chicken, tortellini (yes, as a topping), bacon-potato-cheddar, chicken fajita (with crumbled tortilla chips) just to name a few. One of my favorites has ricotta, spinach, basil, sun-dried tomatoes, and portabella. The prices are awesome too. One slice will leave you full with room for dessert, two slices will leave you stuffed. more

Best Pizza in Town 6/21/2005

Anyone in Amherst has to stop at Antonio's and get a slice of pizza, its the best in town. Their open late and offer a creative combination of toppings. Everything from plain old cheese pizza to a untraditional but really tasty seafood pizza. No matter what you like there is really something for everyone here, you won't be disappointed! more
