In January, I purchased a wedding dress and they placed an order for it. They said it would come in May... In March, I decided that it wasn't the dress of my dreams and told them I didn't want the dress. The deposit was non-refundable, but the manager called her corporate office to request permission to credit my deposit toward another dress... Unfortunately for them, the original dress came in a month early, but they still gave me credit on my deposit. I went back in, with a list of style numbers from the website, and they had about half of them in my size to try on. I found my dream dress, and ordered it! I ordered my dress in June, and I should have plenty of time before my wedding in December to get it fitted. Any of you brides out there expecting for a dress in a month or two are just asking for a miracle. This designer is not a warehouse-style shop where the dresses are pre-made. If you are rushing off to get married, or are pregnant or something then you need to go to those other shops where you can buy your dress off the shelf! Pros: Most beautiful dresses, great service! I have been to a lot of bridal salons all over Orlando and I had yet to be impressed at any of them, until I went to Brides by Demetrios! As soon as I walked into the salon I was immediately greeted by the staff and was helped by own personal consultant, not like at the bigger 'warehouse' style store that is also in Altamonte (Im sure you all know who I'm referring to!) that gives you a consultant that is helping three other groups of people at the same time. She was so helpful in finding me the perfect gowns to try on and was truly interested in making my entire experience really pleasant and memorable. She really helped my dream gown and I couldn't have been happier! I know that a lot of the these reviews were from quite a few months back and I think they must have turned over some new staff since then because I cannot imagine that any of the people I met could have been rude or not helpful. Overall the perfect experience and I would recommend them to anyone! Pros: Amazing quality and staff is really knowledgable Cons: can't find one!

If you want to feel like you are a unique & special bride-to-be, this is NOT the place to go. My wedding was over 6 months ago, and I received my dress well before that...but my feelings still linger on what an aweful experience I had. It all went downhill after I purchased my dress. During my fittings, I was completely neglected as my attendant left me to determine my own alterations. The seemstress did not properly seem my dress,and I had to come back twice to make sure she created the correct bussell. The day that I went to pick up the dresss and have my final fitting, the dress was not even steamed and I had to wait 4 hours, needless to say my mother-in-law was so UNHAPPY, I don't know how I maintained my composure. To ALL brides-to-be, PLEASE do your research about the quality of customer service at your local boutique before you add another headache to your wedding list. Personally, I DO NOT recommend this site. Take care & Best wishes! :) Pros: a beautiful quality dress Cons: incredibly aweful customer service

I walked into the shop and there was someone behind the main desk area. She saw me come did not say hello and walked eight past me to address someone else. I stood there for about five minutes hoping someone would notice a new potential customer was in the store. I decided to walk around and browse through the dresses. I saw at least three employees assisting others and no one even tried to say hello. About 20 minutes later I walk back to the front and someone else is up there, she did look busy, but again does not acknowledge my presence. I have never seen anything like it. You would think they would at least let you know that someone will be with you shortly or at least say 'HELLO". I have been to a few other bridal shops and have never felt like I was not welcomed. I would recommend going somewhere that you know you will be greeted like a human. I don't expect a Disney greeting just some acknowledgement. Unfortunately I will take my business elsewhere. By far, one of the biggest nightmares of my retail history! One year in advance we go to purchase a gown for my daughter's wedding. Mind you, you must pay, IN FULL, at the time of order! The 1st gown came in many months later and it could not even be zipped. They ordered another gown and when it came in (1 month before the wedding) it fit almost worse then the 1st. The seamstress had to take the entire gown apart and redo. And, I was charged!!! We picked the gown up 1 week before the wedding and it was still huge in the bust. Took the gown to a local seamstress who TRIED to make it fit. It never fit correctly. Many of the wedding pictures can vouch for that. Wrote a letter to Demetrios headquarters in N.Y. and they did not even have the common decency to write back. I would strongly advise anyone NOT to buy a gown from Demetrios. There are plenty of beautiful gowns to buy without the aggravation that Brides by Demetrios causes their patrons. Shame on them! Pros: None Cons: Twice ordered wrong size. Demetrios has, by far, the most beautiful wedding gowns in the area. However, plan on waiting for a LONG time. My dress took four months to arrive in shop and another two weeks to alter. The veil did not arrive until five months after my order was placed, and it was different from the one I had selected in the shop. I'm still waiting on the corrected rush order. (It's been almost two months.) Definitely get your veil elsewhere, and only shop here if you have plenty of time to wait on a gown. I'm glad I started a year in advance! Pros: Nice people in the shop, excellent gown selection, high quality gowns Cons: Orders take an inordinately long amount of time, some phone hassling is required to make sure product arrives

I must say that they do have a beautiful selection of gowns there to choose from, but I would defiantly buy my dress from somewhere else. If I hadn??????t fallen in love with a dress there I would not have done any kind of business with these people. I went in with a list of dresses that I had found on the website that I wanted to try on. I gave it to my consultant and she kind of blew it off, and only brought back 2 of the dresses I had asked for. So I then had to go and find them myself. She was repeatedly rude to me. First by acting like it was a pain to do anything, or acted if I was stupid if I asked any questions. Then she proceeded to tell me that I was a little on the ??????heavy?????? side. Which I am NOT! I am an average 5??????9???????????? and a size 9. I hardly think that is ??????heavy??????, but whatever. So I order the $1,500 dress and $300 veil, and they said if I bought the veil too they would give me 15% off the entire total, well they didn??????t and I later had to call and make them take it off. So they call me to tell me my dress is in, and that I have to pick it up within 14 days or they send it back to the factory and I don??????t get my 50% deposit back. So I drive 3 hours to go and pick up the dress, and my veil isn??????t there! And they say it will be in sometime in the next 3 weeks. So needless to say I was irate. Then they bring my dress to the counter and don??????t want me to try it on before I purchase it. I said may I please try my dress on? And the girl said, ??????Oh you want to try it on before you pay for I??????? When I get the dress on it is very wrinkled and the hem at the bottom is not straight. I guess I just thought when you pay that much money for a dress; it should be close to perfect. First I want to say that the gowns here are beautiful. However, I would go to a differant store that carries Demetrios gowns. On my first visit I fell in love with the second dress I tried on. The manager was helping us and told us that she would give me a 15% discount on the gown. No reason given. I had later found out that the prices were marked up on the gowns and the 15% discount came out to be the real price for the gown. Everytime that I walked into the store my total bill got higher, and higher with no real explination. On my first visit I was told that alterations on my gown were free. After they were all completed, I was told they were almost $200 dollars. The first time I met with the lady who did my alterations, she refused to take my measurements. (I am a very small girl and have real difficulty getting clothes to fit properly.) So needles to say, the first time the dress came back it was not right. This went on for several visits, each time taking longer and longer to get back. I finally ws able to pick up my dress two days before my wedding. I ordered it 7 months ahead of time. And the alterations still were not right. I ordered my shoes through them also, and didn't get those until the day I picked up my dress. They were a half of a size too small. The alterations were also supposed to my my slip shorter, and when I got it back with my dress, it was too long. I ended up stepping on it all night long. PROS: The dress was beautiful CONS:
