I recently purchased a Desk and some other office furniture from LaPorta. I admit at first I was somewhat skeptical. I had seen the desk I was ordering for substantially more money at various showrooms in the Chicago area but after speaking with someone there in sales, I was very impressed. The woman I worked with was very friendly and knowledgable about the set I was interested in. She knew far more about the product than the salesperson at the expensive showroom I had initially seen the desk at. After I placed the order, everything went very smoothly!!!! The delivery was on time and my furniture arrived in absolutely perfect condition!!! I will absolutely use them for additional purchases and will highly recommend them to my friends and family!!! I just purchased a counter height dining set from LaPorta Furniture Company. The item is even better looking than the pictures! I am so so happy. The items arrived as promised by Mr. LaPorta. (Probably one of the nicest guys in the world BTW). Best of all, I saved hundreds compared to my local "Discount Furniture" places, and I know the quality of this set is 10 times better! I will be a customer for life. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

I'M HAPPY TO REPORT THAT EVERYTING ARRIVED THIS MORNING AND I'M BREATHELESS- THE LEATHER IS SMOOTH AND WITHOUT IMPERFECTIONS, AND THE DESK- IT'S THE STAR OF MY HOME NOW :) SOLID, HEAVY AND SO MUCH STORAGE SPACE FOR MY FILES AND SUPPLIES. I read every review I could find online before I purchased. I asked about a dozen questions even though the website is really informative- I was looking for a reason why I shouldn't order from online, but gave it a whirl. SO HAPPY I did!! My entire game room is now complete, from the wet bar I bought (55% less than in store), the OAK game table that reverses (60% less), and the 3pc LEATHER theatre seats (50% less). Our basement is complete, and the savings were just unbelievable. But I'm here to report Laporta Furniture is the real deal. Customer service was excellent, too- Philip is just the nicest guy. Find out for yourself!

I'm a very thorough consumer. I do my homework. I read all of the reviews about this company before I decided to buy from them. Let me tell you, they are even better than everyone says. Here is my humble opinion and why I WILL BUY ALL of my furniture from now on from LaPorta Furniture Company: --BEST FURNITURE (the value that you get for your money is incredible!!) --BEST PRICES --BEST DELIVERY GUYS! They even removed my old bed and saved me the hassle of getting rid of it! --BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE --BEST FOLLOW UP ( a hand written thank-you note too??!!) I can see why they are the BEST. I'm happy to write this review because I would really like to see other consumers have the same experience as me. I don't believe hype, but I do believe reviews and I think anyone interested in buying ANY piece of furniture, owes it to themselves to visit the website- but really, just call the office. Ask to speak with Philip, which is who helped me. He didn't make me feel like a whiney annoying woman, like I felt in the stores I was shopping in. He answered more questions than I care to admit, and I appreciated that. I thought about my purchases and spoke with my husband, but we couldn't pass up the savings- let's be honest!!! And every item I got, I saved at least half of what I would have paid if I went into a showroom. (I report the same experience as SunnySkies- my desk, my sectional, my theatre seats- all arrived in a pretty impressive shipment!). I absolutely do not gush about things like furniture, much less sales people- but if I did, I would for Philip and the Laporta Furniture Company.
