I can’t speak about the quality of the food or about the restaurant but I can tell you that Bourbon Street is one of the best bars that you’ll find on the Southside. It used to be a Handy Andy that we renovated into a HUGE bar. Besides the restaurant there is a sports bar, a dance club, a beer garden and a new back area for concerts and to hang out and relax. There is an area to please everyone in your group! The sports bar frequently has bands playing and the music playing in the club area is decent. For $5 cover, it really is a bargain.

This place is just not to my liking. I found the food to be very overpriced and just not that great. The staff was obviously not there to please the public. I think they need to do away with the restaurant part and stick to the bar. The bar area is HUGE, probably the largest I've seen on the southwest side of the city. Afternoons you'll find a lot of tradesmen there and in the evenings a lot of drunk younger folks.

I like going to this place to eat. They say it is Louisiana creole style. However, it does not taste all that authentic to me. But it is pretty good. The facility is large. They have a bar room with a big screen television. In the back there have arcades. You will also see karokee and boxing on some nights. If you do not want to be inside, you can enjoy the outside patio that has a bar as well.
