I love to eat at the Village Tavern as the service is excellent and the variety is outstanding. It does get extremely busy on weekends but it is worth the wait. They are close to the new Verizon outdoor theater, so its a great place for dinner or a drink before a concert.

Wish I could come here daily for the fish and seafoods that this place can offer, but location and prices sort of push me further away from my dream. lol
The foods are great, didn't give me a lot of foods on my last order though. Should have choose a bigger dish.
The place is pack on the weekend, so reservation is a must unless you have times to waste for waiting in line.
Prices ain't cheap though, especially tips if you go in a large party.

This place is the best for the cheese cake, next to the mall. So after finish shopping, I just go there for a dessert that worth every pennies.
The price isn't typically low since it's a pretty high end restaurant.
The decoration is splendid. Really nice and the foods are just great.
Don't go here for dinner, since they don't have much of only desert types.

I have been to most pizza places, including the other Alessio's Pizza places and the Alpharetta location is by far the best Pizza south of New York. Being from Long Island and working in Manhattan I have had NY's best and worst. Alessio's in Alpharetta pizza is thin, excellent tasting sauce, and the perfect amount of cheese. Although I live about 30 minutes away, its my first and only choice for pizza. I would recommend it to anyone. The service is great, the prices are great, overall its top notch.
Pros: The Pizza.
Cons: Packed on the weekends, but I don't consider it a con, that just means they have great food. Well worth any wait

Xian can be depended on every time to provide a beautiful, upscale dining experience with literally the best and most flavorful Chinese cuisine in town. We have eaten there at least twice a month for the past two years and have never received a meal that was short of excellent. The mango chicken and Tien-Tsin beef are particularly good; the vegetables are so fresh and crispy they taste as if they were literally just picked. The restaurant itself is lovely, complete with a beautiful mural of the Stone Soldiers. The wait staff is always friendly and helpful; if you take one sip out of your water glass they rush instantly to refill it. I think the prices are quite reasonable; our regualr entrees are between $12 and $14. Unlike the salty and greasy food served at most Chinese restaurants, Xian's cuisine is obviously geared toward a more refined palate. Excellent...every time.
Pros: Wonderful cuisine, attentive and competent staff

Have been a steady customer of Crabapple Tavern for some time. We take our family there for dinner and my husband and I go there at least once a week, either for lunch or dinner. They have the best Calamari this side of New York..Philly Cheesesteak is fab, Chicken potpie is great...the only dish we ever had that did not meet expectations was the shrimp scampi...my grandson had it and we had to order something else for him, but it was the portion..he's 15 and can eat the wallpaper off the wall. I love the food, as does my whole family. The staff is great, warm and friendly and if you want something done a certain way, ie: no bottom crust on chicken pie or no mushrooms on dish they are more than happy to accomodate you.
Pros: Great hamburgers
Cons: can't think of any

As far as bar/restaurant go this is one of the best I have seen in Alpharetta in a while. The interior is very warm and comfortable without feeling cramped. The televisions on the walls are there but are not a distraction if you are having conversation. This place is just as good for two people, a family of four, or one person going for a happy hour cocktail. It can get a little noisy based on the acoustics so I would not recommend it for an intimate dinner. The waitstaff is very friendly and accomodating. The menu is small but there are excellent selections for salads, appetizers, and some entrees. I think it is nicely elevated tavern food that feels healthy and satisfying at the same time. When I was there last time the hummus was outstanding, the chips were amazing, and the cobb salad was well composed. It is nice to see a place like this in Alpharetta.
