This bike shop is the funnest bike shop I have been to. It is very small, but do not let that fool you. The guys that work here are incredibly knowledgable and so fun to talk to; and if you do not know anything about bikes, they wont hold it against you. The also have this interactive playstation game where you ride a bike and the computer registers your movements. I bought a mountain bike here and have never had a problem with it. Great place.

The store is small but what they have inside is just amazing for those who love Sanrio collection like Hello Kitty and Chococat. You can find Sanrio themed cell phone straps, mugs, pencil cases, photo frame, and many more. This is the only store that I have seen with such a complete collection of Sanrio. In addition, they also have collections of other cute characters. So, if you like these kind of stuffs, I recommend visiting this store.

Back in the days of grunge this was my idea of heaven. Great selection and very reasonably priced with a well organized layout and friendly staff. It may still be as it used to-- that if you were a nice young lady the male staff people might let a few things slip into the bag uncharged. :)

This place is family owned but it probably has every movie you can ask for. The place is small since it is on a busy avenue but all the movies you want are there. If you are only looking to rent a movie for one night, then this is the place to go. The price is extremely cheap so it is a bargain. They have every genre of movies and in dvds, vcds, and video. The clerk is really nice too.

What a great supermarket! Besides being really big and having a great selection of all the standard foods and really fresh produce etc. this Shaw's has some great features that are unique. The major one is the bundle pick up - where you have them bag your groceries into bags and then put them into these baskets. Then you drive your car to the area where a guy (free of charge) will put the bags into your trunk. This way you don;t have to carry them out of the store or push the full cart through the lot. This just tops off a great shopping experience!

While I have to agree with the reviewer that the store lacks depth in the comic department, they do offer a lot of discounts and promotional incentives. If you're willing to shell out the dough, they had a recent deal on the Preacher TPBs, where if you ordered them all you got one for free. Also, they offer student discounts on occasion.

These guys did a great job fixing our Mac (I dropped it!) and the price was incredibly reasonable. Some of the guys at the shop have a bit of an attitude, but it's worth braving to get the service at their prices.

I'm not a big comic reader, but I've actually been to a lot of comic stores in New England. It seems the ongoing trend for most are snooty workers, but this is not the case at New England Comics. Michelle, one of the major employees is bubbly and nice and always willing to help out comic newbies. She went our of her way to show me a bunch of comics, I as a female, might be interested in. In a comic world dominated by men, we need more New England Comics and Michelles to get more girls interested!

This cramped Allston shop bills itself as a family thrift store. Start with the children's clothes in the front racks, wander back to the men's sports jackets (including some wild plaids) and then meander into the women's section, which boasts a huge number of dresses and shoes, all arranged by color. In the back you will find home goods like silverware, dishes, plates, pots and pans. This shop has a great assortment of paperback books, and you might even find some bestsellers among them.
