This company has incorrectly called my cell phone 10 times since January. I do not have an apartment to rent currently and never have had an apartment to rent in Massachusetts. I don't even live in Massachusetts. I told each agent that they had the wrong number and to take me off their list. When that still didn't work, I called and asked for a supervisor. He told me ( rudely ) there was Nothing they could do. Really??? I even told the agents & supervisor they should consider they weren't renting this apartment because of not taking my number off their lists. The calls have still continued. This company clearly cannot get facts or numbers straight.I will be sending them a bill for my cell phone fees next.

Whoever said that these good reviews are fake is a genius. I looked at 4 different apartments on January 6th, 2009. We decided that we really liked one of them and would be signing a lease the next day. Our realtor seemed informative and helpful. We wrote all of the checks up front: FULL FEE, first and last months rent and a deposit. For one of the checks we nicely asked the realtor to wait until the 15th to cash it (the payment wasn't due until the 22nd). After signing the leases and other paperwork, the realtor asked what my favorite drink was (implying a welcoming bottle of alcohol on move in day). About 3 days later I called our realtor to see if the landlord confirmed the lease and if we got the place. I also sent emails and left numerous voicemails. I never recieved a call back. I finally called the nextgen office to see what was going on. They told me that the day after we signed the lease our realtor left the company. So, I tried to get in touch with her manager to confirm the lease and get the landlord's info. Over a week passed and finally on the January 25th I got a call back. She told me I could not have the landlords info because I had a bounced check and had a $50 fee to go along with it (the check was cashed on the 7th instead of the 15th like I asked). After another two weeks of racing back and forth with money orders and other paperwork that should have been in the past, we moved in. The landlord is great but he is complaining that he never got all of the money. So, today I will be calling nextgen and dealing with unprofessional people with drug problems and try to get a check sent to my landlord. I'm sure they will tell me that they have nothing to do with it and I owe the money. I am warning anyone looking for an apartment to stay away from this company. They are scumbags and do not care about you at all. If you are looking for

As someone who's desperately trying to find housing in Boston, I really, really appreciate NextGen Realty??????s website http://www.nextgenrealty.com for its information on average rental prices in the city. it's given me a very realistic portrait of what rental prices are on a monthly basis, which is incredibly useful. I was initially attracted to the next gen realty website because it has so many pictures and video. I have been out and looked at 13 properties with Amine and he has been great in showing me stuff all across the city and suburbs. I am super picky and I can't believe Amine doesn't hate me at this point for being so non committal. anyway, i'm still looking, but i feel better equipped to face the Boston rental market with this helpful agency and great apartment inventory and, for that, i have to thank them :)

John Cronan from NextGen Realty did a great job for me when I decided to rent an apartment in Boston. My friend and I are from California and were going to school together and decided to get a place. We are going to BC and back in August when we met him, he really helped us learn the ins and out of the area (including good routes to get around bad Boston traffic like Soldiers Field Road, and Memorial Drive). We didnt know much about Boston Real Estate but had heard real bad things about how difficult it was to find places. But John never made us feel like we weren't going to fin the right apartment. Every time we called in the front desk managers were always helpful in connecting me with him and getting the information that we needed. As college students, we are obviously looking for the cheapest price we can find that is still a legit looking apartment. John was able to get us a negotiated deal, and was very impressed by his skill. We found a great apartment perfectly in our price range in Brighton right by Oak Square. He also took the time to drive us and show us where the Arsenal Mall in Watertown MA is; this was important because he showed us where Best Buy, Target and Home Depot were located. Overall our experience was very positive and we highly recommend NextGen Realty.

A few years back I went to NextGen Realty to get help finding an apartment. My agent Eben Stuart was awesome; he honestly cared about me as well as getting the best apartment possible. Eben is a first class Realtor and my choice when I have real estate needs in Boston. He was able to help us find the perfect loft and really stuck up for us throughout the bidding and closing process. I never knew how important it is to have a Realtor when you're renting an apartment, and I would highly recommend Eben to anyone who is looking. NextGen Realty was an awesome resource for finding apartments and I hope it still is as my cousin is currently using them looking for a place. If you want first class marketing, someone who is committed to helping you achieve your goals, a skilled negotiator, a Realtor who will stay in touch, remove much of the stress and who knows the local market well then NextGen Realty and Eben Stuart are the only choice.

I would usually only leave reviews for restaurants, but I feel as if my experience with Jen at NextGen warranted a review. I called Jen after seeing a video in one of her ads. We had a funny situation because my phone was disconnected the same day I left her a message. Because of this situation, I decided to contact her via the e-mail listed on her ad. Jen graciously replied and arranged for us to meet a short while later.
When arriving at the apartment I was interested in, I was sure I was only looking at one apartment. After viewing the apartment and being very disappointed, Jen asked if I had time to look at a few more. She then pulled out a paper list with a whole bunch of apartments! This seemed incredible as my roommates and I had been striking out in Cambridge port, Inman Square and Central Square area. The ones we had seen were either too small or too old in appearance to make any of us happy.
I never realized that finding an apartment could be as easy as calling an agent. The end result of my experience was that we signed a lease for a beautiful place just a few days later. Jen was a real joy to work with and to top it all; she found us a landlord that paid a half fee! In fact, she actually kept us together as friends because there was a time when the four of us thought of splitting up as roommates and going our separate ways because we couldn??????t find something we liked, or so we thought. We basically started getting on each other??????s nerves but Jen was the glue that kept us together. I feel as if I at least owe her a drink!

We were told by our agent to go to various websites (...pads.com), We sifted through crap ads, but still found 5 places that looked ok. Upon arrival we are told the 5 rented (overnight... BS) but that there were others to see. Of the three to see, we couldn't get into 1, and and the other two were junk. This company has horrible sales agents, horrible websites, lies about listings, tries to bait and switch, and has horrible management. We did a search on their Broker and found numerous complaints against him and his company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR BOARDWALK PROPERTIES!

These good reviews must be FAKE. I should have listened to the previous reviews questioning this company. These people (and management) are the worst we have ever dealt with. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

The Next Gen Realty company is compromised of several well spoken individuals at ground level. However further examination reveals a company lead by a pompous owner focusing on his own convenience rather than catering to the company's potential bright future. Having invested some time and dealt with several capable real estate companies, Next Gen Realty is the equivalent to a ghetto slum lord, prepared to take as much as they can without any consideration to catering to client over the dollar. There are so many other realty companies available in Boston and the greater Boston area, it would be a huge mistake on any individuals' end to entrust any fiscally related responsabillity to such an overwhelming repressive company. The people at the bottom are capable of so much, however leadership holds them back as well as their clients.

My three Boston College friends and I tried very hard to find an apartment without using a broker. We wanted to avoid a broker??????s fee at all cost. I personally got aggravated when we interviewed with 2 different landlords and they declined our application. We then decided to look for a broker. A friend of mine had rented a large 4 bedroom house a few weeks earlier and he suggested I call NextGen and speak with Eugene. I checked out their website at nextgenrealty.com and noticed that they didn??????t have many ads for the size of apartments we were looking for, but they did claim to have thousands of listings, so I figured they were advertising every single one. They also had video of apartments; this is something that I had not seen on any other websites. It became clear to me that this company had it's act together.
Eugene told me that large apartments with 4 or more bedrooms are hard to come about, but he assured me that if any was available, he would find it! And find it he did. The next day he called me and said that he had a list of properties to show me. As Eugene took us around the neighborhood we were interested in, he was nice enough to point out some points of interest close to each apartment we went to. He would often point to streets where there was free street parking and/or anyone could park there, rather than just permit parking. He often said things that made me know he was professional and that he had thought out each person's needs in advance. He asked us in the car if we liked to work out etc., we said yes, and he drove us and showed us the YMCA as well as the Beacon Hill athletic club and also where a tanning salon was, I thought that was an excellent touch in showing that he cared.
After we had chosen the place that we thought was the best choice for us, Eugene arranged for a landlord meeting. We were initially very nervous abou
