Took my 1 year old Mac Pro to these guys, to get some warranty work done that should have been covered under AppleCare and they wanted to charge me $280 to fix the problem. They were rude and treated me like I was bothering them. Went to Tech Superpowers in Boston. This company was great. Right on Newbury St. they have a digital lounge where I was able to go on one of there machines to check my email while a waited an hour or so as they fixed my machine at no charge. Could not say enough about the experience I had at Tech Superpowers.

Computer Loft is a long-established non-chain, low-key intimate Mac center. They sell used Macs, parts and components. The key is that they really have a ton of experience with these machines and can sort out why something doesn't work, whether it's broken, etc. They also can explain how to do stuff with your Mac. Service for mac users and availability of used systems make this place a good one to use.
