really yummy sushi. the yum yum roll is fabulous, i suggest you stay away from the 'fermented soy bean'..it's not tofu,its icky soy beans with an icky consistency and its bitter.

Boston proper has long been missing a mid sized music venue. Forget the other side of the river. The sound is amazing and the caliber of bands is outstanding (I think its time for Citysearch to rethink their description).

All the Brazilians eat here, so they must be doing something right. I love that the carry Guarana soda (regular and diet). You pay by the pound, so it can get expensive if you really load up, but still the prices are not bad. The meat cooked on the grill/spit and cut to order is better than the stuff in the buffet. The place is big, so there is a lot of seating. The parking lot can get crowded, and traffic on Brighton Ave. is a pain. They have rice, beans, plantains, polenta, greens, noodles, all the Brazilian basics.

Tiger Lily is a Malaysian and Chinese restaurant in the Symphony area of Back Bay. I went there to celebrate a friend's birthday, and my party and I were early. We took a table in the bar and tried to order some appetizers and drinks. The Bartenders were so aloof, we didn't even get menus until one of us went to the front of the restaurant to ask for them. Two bartenders, 3 customers. You'd think they'd have gotten the job done. The food finally came out, and was really average, the dim sum platter I got was no better than mall chinese food and the scorpion bowls left our wallets empty and our experience, unfortunately, a sober one.

Herrell??????s ??????Renaissance Caf?????????? in Allston just changed owners again, which is great because the place had gone downhill. This is the only Herrell??????s that offers breakfast (eggs, pancakes, bagels, etc) as well as the usual coffee and ice cream. The new menu has plenty of vegan options, like vegan pancakes, French toast and more choices of ??????No Moo??????. The art on the walls has seriously improved, too, and they are now showing some of the best underground artists in Boston.

My girlfriend and I have gotten delivery and take out a few times from this hidden gem. S & I offers a great menu selection and a separate authentic Thai menu. Our favorites have been the spicy catfish, pork on stick with spicy fish sauce and red curry. All these dishes taste a little different than what most American's have come to expect from typical Thai food. This in my opinion is a good thing. The food is spicy, with a ton of complex flavors. Don't be afraid to go out on a limb and try something new. S & I offers great tastes for the adventurous diner. The only problem with this place is the portions are small and the restaurant itself is tiny and kind of dumpy. Get delivery or take out and you won't be sorry.

I really enjoyed eating at this Colombian Restaurant. The cheff, the waitresses, the owner, the food are from Colombia. What else to ask? If you are not from Colombia, do not expect to be served like in an American Restaurant or Italina Restaurant, you are wrong! be ready to hear, see, smell, feel and taste the real and delicious Colombian food. If you have a chance to visit Colombia and eat at any restaurant ...you will have the same service experience as the "Cafetal Restaurant". It's hard to find a real Colombian restaurant in the State of MA.... for now listen to the typical Colombian Music, wait, and relax while you eat at the best Colombian Restaurant in MA.

One of a handful of Allston eateries that caters to the hung over brunch crowd. Either quick take out or sit in, their egg and cheese sandwiches are greasy and tasty. You can't really screw up eggs, and these guys don't, but they sure don't make it seem healthy. Their coffee is reasonably strong, and their service is good enough. Early afternoon, you're not going to hit any major mobs.

This place has good selection since it is huge compared to other places. It is by the corner of Harvard Ave and Brighton Ave and has its own parking lot so it can be accessed easily. You would be mesmerized by all the alcohol you can find in there. However, it is a bit pricey but all is fair and good. Just go there if you want to get buzzed.
