The A1 Japanese Steak HOuse is a great place to take the family. VEry entertaining Hibachi grill the kids will love! The food is excellent and the sushi is also very good. It gets very crowded and despite what they say they do not take reservations so be prepared to wait. The staff are very friendly and family friendly. PROS: Great family restaurant. CONS: Crowded, long wait.

I've typically visited A1 for their sushi dishes myself. The place itself is nothing to look at, but the sushi is fairly fresh and pretty reasonably priced. A favorite dessert of mine is their strawberry Mochi ice cream, though the dessert occasionally comes out disappointingly freezer burned.

APPARENTLY, SHE WAS THE ONLY NON-CHINESE SERVER IN THE PLACE AND BOY WAS SHE GOOD. I BELIEVE HER NAME WAS CHRISTINA. SHE WAS ONE OF THE BEST SERVERS I HAVE EVER HAD AT ANY REST. I visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. I was not very impressed. Although, we had reservations we had to still wait awhile until the hostess had a specific number of people to sit at the hibachi. After we sat down the waiter came to the hibachi quickly and so did all of our food. Our appetizer, soup and salad came at the same time. I felt very rushed. Someone at our table found a hair on the hibachi which as a total turn off for me as well as the other people at our hibachi. The food was good but the other issues will make hard for me to return to this restaurant again.
