The 3 guys who showed up were very nice and worked really fast. The problem was that only one of them spoke any English and they were not careful at all. The guy couldn't understand when I was trying to tell him he was stacking 3 boxes of books on top of a box labeled "Fragile" and "Crystal". They move everything with unpadded dollies so the wood furniture and appliances all had dings on them. Fast and cheap, but there will be damage.

Once again, I needed a mover, and this time, it was on very short notice. Our house closed a lot faster than we initially anticipated, and we didn't think we would be able to get anyone lined up in time. In stepped AB Moving, who once again was not only able to get us in last minute, but also gave us the same great service we have come to expect. Mr. Kenny Baker sent us a great team of guys, and they were very quick and proficient, while still making sure to wrap all of the items to ensure that they arrived at our destination in the same shape that they left our old home in. I only wish that these guys performed other services! I could use a plumber, roofing guy, etc. that was as quick, efficient, and accomodating as this company has always been for us. Thanks again, AB Moving, and if you havem't used these guys before, you have sorely missed out on a fantastic moving experience.

Moving is always a physical and emotional trauma so we expected the worst. Instead, AB Moving delivered the best - the best in service, attentiveness and price! Eddie and his crew - Alec and Estaban - were top notch. They finished the entire job, in and out and in, in a mere six hours. Everything was handled gently, wrapped thoroughly, and treated with great respect. David, who was the sales person and liaison, was also a pleasure to deal with I don't hand out endorsements indiscriminately.

This move was the second time that I hired AB Moving. They are very upfront about the costs (which I think are competitive, but to be honest I didn't shop around much). I have used numerous moving companies in the past, and have had some very bad experiences. But when I used AB Moving for my most recent residential move, they did a fantastic job! The movers were very curteous and polite, and they moved all of my belongings with out so much as a single scratch! I was very pleased at the pace they worked at, which was quick and efficient, however they were still able to be very careful and accomodating. I would highly recommend this company if you need moving help, as they do exceptional work!

**BUYER BEWARE!!** AB Moving was hired to handle a small residential move. Upon their arrival to my home this morning, I asked if they offered insurance. The one mover that spoke English called... More

**BUYER BEWARE!!** AB Moving was hired to handle a small residential move. Upon their arrival to my home this morning, I asked if they offered insurance. The one mover that spoke English called the office and I was informed that they did and it would be an additional $75. I agreed to the amount and requested any paperwork outlining what was covered and I was informed they didn't have anything on hand. I have purchased insurance before from other moving companies and I typically receive info on a customer's rights - this was not made available to me on this move. One of the movers walked up to a large art sculpture I have and pulled it away from the wall from it's upper left corner. I immediately asked him to please not touch that piece in front of the other two movers. As he spoke very little English, I have no idea if he understood me but I assumed he did as he backed away from the piece. After almost completing the move, I had a business call come in on my cell and during the call I heard a splintering sound behind me -- they had tried to pick up the sculpture and broke the upper left corner in the same area where it had been pulled away from the wall by the mover. I was horrified. After requests to not touch that piece, they handled it anyway and broke it. It's valued at $12,000 minimum as seen on the artist's site at: http://www.possobonsculptures.com/gal_fw011_search4tomorrow.html Working with the 3 of them, we gingerly got the piece lying on it's back in the middle of the living room carpet. Upon completing the move, I contacted the specialty art installer and informed them of the situation. They have declined to move the piece since it has now been damaged. I've contacted the artist who informed me that this piece, IF it can even be repaired will now no longer be an original as it's been damaged and has lost it's value. AB Moving company requested that I send the details to the owner via email (abmoving@msn.com). I complied and explained what happened and received a brief email reply saying their insurance limit was $0.60 a pound. I then phoned them and the owner, Kenny Baker answered and he said that his company does NOT provide insurance and he has no idea who his movers called to say I would be covered for $75. When I asked him about his email reply regarding the coverage by pound, he started talking in circles. He also said he doesn't take responsibility for his employees / independent contractors / subcontractors that represent his company. They are unwilling to assist me in finding a professional art mover to transport this piece before Sunday, 1 July 07; they are unwilling to crate and ship the piece back to the artist for possible repair (even though with the repair it has now lost it's value). They, and their representatives, sold me moving insurance but then reneged on saying it was available once the damage occurred. They demanded to be paid in cash. They are unwilling to provide any assistance to alleviate this situation. **BUYER BEWARE!!**

We contracted with A B Moving, 604 N. Central Expy, suite B, Allen Tx 75013, a member of Service Magic, to move the entire contents of our house from Dallas to Conroe Tx on @/13/2007. A B Moving loaded all of our belongings except a small grand piano on to their trucks and then refused to move the piano, a clear breach of their contract with us. We insisted that they move the piano but they refused to and also refused to return our belongings to us unless we paid them $425, which we were forced to do. Subsequently, Kenny Baker, the president of A B moving , admitted that his employee, the job estimator, had make an error but he not only refused to return the $425 to us, but further stated "I know where you live and I am coming to beat you up". We request that Service Magic either remove A B moving from membership and warn other potential customers of A B Moving's extortion and threats. Thank You, Richard and Anne Srebro

It is a very nice and reliable moving company. I have used them a couple of time and i was completely satisfied with the. The employees ware very helpful and took good care of my furniture.They do local and long distance moving, and are licensed and insured. you can visit them on line or call their number because they really are a great local moving company and are extremely friendly. I will recommend them.
