The service is great and it does not take long to get your food. The food is enjoyable and my family eats here a couple times a week. It is kept tidy and the prices are a good deal. The kung pao chicken is a must!

In order for a NY style pizza to be good, the crust needs to be crispy and the toppings need to be soft (not burned). I tried Brooklyn's today and it brought back memories NY (Ray's Pizza). I loved it and will definitely be coming back often for a slice during my lunches.

My husband and I had our first date here in 2004. There a lot of families that go to this restaurant, but it is not too loud so that it is also a great place for a date. The decor is colorful and the atmosphere is cozy. The waitstaff has always been attentive but not intrusive so that my husband and I were able to have some very nice long conversations on our dates here. The prices are about average, portions are generous as I've found to be true at almost every restaurant in Allen. The food is delicious, with particular kudos for the salsas and fajitas.

This pizza is really good, but it is much more expensive than your Pizza Huts. It tastes better and everything, but since it is not very big, they only deliver to a small area.

We have eaten here a few times and while the ordering/seating process was a tad odd, once you get the hang of it, it's actually convenient. We have enjoyed the food everytime we have eaten here, felt the prices were good and the food was always hot and fresh. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the restaurant was always clean. The only thing I would say that wasn't as good is you tend to feel rushed here because it's small and everyone is a tad more cramped together than other places. Try it though, good food!

Hmmmm....This is a fun place to shop for groceries. The Allen Tom Thumb is located at the northwest corner of Central Expressway and McDermott Dr making it easily accessible. There service is above average. The store looks really neat. They must wax those floors like twice a day or something. The shine of the store does accept your mood positively....gotta say that. They have the standard support for their products that grocery stores do (you can return an item if you're not happy with it, as long as it's withing the return policy). On the product availability, I have a pretty good feeling they have above average product availability. The feedback system is through the store front personnel. The strong advantage that Tom Thumb has over the competition is their location. Their area of improvement is the pricing. They could use a bit more competitive pricing but tell that to their good number of return shoppers : ) ...and oooh oooh oooh!! they have a gas station where you can get a significantly reduced price if you have a Tom Thumb Rewards card. There gas discount is actually the better ones in the Allen/Plano/McKinney area.

The food is very tasty, and I like that they can make the foods as spicy or mild as you please. Quality ingredients, delicious curries, and tenderly-cooked chicken made this an enjoyable, but not exceptional, eating experience. However, expect to spend $10 for lunch and twice as much for dinner. I cannot justify going there outside of lunch hours, because it's just not worth it.

My husband and I visited Ralph and Kacoos last night and it was by far the best experience we have had in a long time. My husband and I started out with voodoo juice and blackened alligator that was cooked to perfection. Our waiter showed much knowledge regarding the menu and restaurant history. We were visited by all managers during the course of our meal. They were very attentive and polite to our table and that of their staff. Our main course came out, my husband ordered the feature of the evening, Tilapia supreme that was to die for. I on the other hand ordered the Crawfish festival. It had fried crawfish, crawfish etouffee, and a very rich crawfish bisque.. The portions are HUGE and well worth the money. I had to take home my delicious bread pudding dessert - I was so full.
Pros: food, service
Cons: too many great choices!!

Cici's pizza is great value for money when you are taking out a large crowd of kids. Great for those soccer parties etc. Cici's in Allen is also great about sponsoring school's PTA events. It can get very crowded on a Saturday but the wait does not seem too long. They have a great variety of pizza available as well as a desert pizza.

I'm writing this review of Braum's grocery section, not the soda fountain, good as that is. The grocery section carries the cheapest dairy products in town that I've been able to find. Especially for families with children that drink a lot of milk, Braum's is definitely worth a visit for the savings. All of their dairy products I've tried - lowfat milk, whole milk, whipping cream, colby and cheddar cheeses, yogurt, and ice cream - have been top quality. The grocery section of the store is small but not crowded probably because most people don't think to come to Braum's for the groceries. They also carry a limited selection of other groceries such as cereal, condiments, ice cream toppings and cones (of course), frozen prepared foods, and even some meat and fresh produce.
