A friend of mine took me to Neighborhood Cup for breakfast yesterday and I was enchanted! The atmosphere is coffee shop meets art gallery & they play CDs of local singer songwriters who regularly perform in the cafe (you can also purchase the CDs in-store). They have a calendar of events posted on one of the walls - it includes art showings, yoga classes & live performances - very inspiring! All that AND their bagel with lox & cream cheese was delicious - who knew?

I know that Starbucks is good, but it's also good to support our local economy by going to places like the Neighborhood Cup. Try the lavendar latte...it's a great change from your regular caffe latte. They also have fun events at the Neighborhood Cup, so it's a fun place to meet up with friends. Since it's connected to the Aliso Viejo library, you can grab a coffee and a book at the same time!

My wife found this local coffee joint online. Based on the review, my wife and I decided to give this place a try. If you know Aliso Viejo well, this place is actually fairly easy to find. Neighborhood Cup locates right next to Aliso Library. Once we arrived, we ordered Pa?ini along with a cup of latte and a cup of writer's block (half coffee and half coco) The Pa?ini is not bad. My wife and I did not like blue cheese, and we forgot to mentioned that to the cashier. No fault on the service side, pure ignorant on my part. The meal includes Pa?ini, a caramel apple (which is creatively carved) and a side dish of the choice. I ordered Gumbo Chicken soup and my wife had the potato. I was amazed by the coffee. Usually there is a sour taste for me after drinking coffee. Also, I can not drink anything black. But the coffee at this place was so good. I drink it black and the bitter taste did not bother me at all. If you ever want to spend a nice relax afternoon, Neighborhood Cup is def. the place to go. The place not only offer free wi-fi, due to its location, you can easily check out a book or a magazine from the library next door.
