I had a function to go to this past weekend and got airbrushed at a salon in Newport Beach on a friend's recommendaton - low and behold - I didn't get tanned, I was camoflaged with splotches EVERYWHERE:-( The girl there was able to fix me, cover up my disaster and turn me into pure bronze for the weekend! It is so nice to find a place where they know what they are doing and didn't take whatever money I've got left right now to do it! Pros: They know what they are doing - the place is spotless and looks great Cons: Didn't know they were there until it was almost too late

I finally found a tanning salon where the staff actually seemed to do something other than just chat with their friends and play on the internet. I used to tan at another salon in the area, but I got tired of staff ignoring me and tanning in a place that was generally dirty. This Unique Tan salon is super clean and the staff seem to be there to run the salon and not just party. This is just SUCH a refreshing change!

The salon looked great and staff were really friendly, and I'm certainly going back! Pros: Really Skilled Staff, Very Clean, Reasonably Priced Cons: Had to Wait 5 Minutes for my Appointment

This place rocks!!! I've been tanning in OC for years and just recently tried Unique Tan at the recommendation of co-workers. I thought I knew how to maximize my bronze. After just a couple of visits, the pretty young lady asked me if I would like to try a different bed level to stimulate my tanning further...something to do with UVA and UVB rays, something, something. Following her advice, I noticed that I got better results. In 7 years of tanning, nobody had recommended for me to change my bed levels around! Then they have this young guy who must be some kind of tanning lotion expert...now I always tan with a lotion and it seems like my color lasts longer. This salon is extremely clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are reasonable. I won't tan anywhere else! Keep up the awesome effort Unique Tan! Pros: Great beds. Attentive staff. Always have my lotion ready for me before I walk in the door! Cons: Can't think of any!

Hey your hero... are we talking about the same place?? Not only are their staff members sweet and educated but they have an amazing spray tan. They have their own spray from Europe and the tan you achieve from it is super chocolate ...not orange! I highly recommend tanning here if you want a warm, friendly experience with great results.
