Good: Will come to house anytime of day or night, although it will cost you a lot.. Bad: Replaces with inferior parts not recommended by manufacturer (not OEM)and charges you a flat fee that includes the price of the parts even when the parts would be free under warranty. Their guarantee is useless because if they find nothing wrong on the free tuneup visit, they will recommend upgrades required to keep your unit qualifying for their guarantee (usually starting with an expensive surge protection and a drain alarm). Violated Texas Deceptive Practices Act many times over. Very rude on phone.. Improvements: Honesty, ethical, courtesy, kindness,... or be put out of business and owners jailed.. Other: Have worst BBB rating. Under investigation by the Texas Department of Registration and Licensing and Texas State Attorney general for violations of many consumer protection laws..

I purchased a new heating and a/c from this company. It was put in one day. I watched as they put in the outside unit and I had to make them aware of a “few” commonsense things installing this. Once they completed the unit in the attic, which was around 11:30pm, we had the supervisor return the next day to see the type quality of their installation. Just “one of the many” things were the overflow pan was put in backwards! Needless to say, they had to return to reinstall the complete heating system, 2 times!! This doesn’t include our carpeting they ruined and sent someone to clean it, which a large stain is still very visible. This has been about one year ago and they have been to our house to “fix” so many issues that I can’t even count anymore! The amount of the system was an outrageous price once we had the time to look around for similar systems. If you have had anything installed, take them up on removing the system within the period of time allowed and find someone else to purchase a new heating/a/c system from. BEWARE!! I wish I would have checked them out first. It was an expensive mistake.

Hobson treats both customers and employees badly. Brett Hobson does not honor his so called "bullet proof" sales pitches. He also refuses to pay his employees until the jobs are "funded" So his employees may work 8-16 hours on a job then never get paid because the "office" loses peoples pay sheets. Or an excuse is made that the paperwork was lost or not filled out right. He cheats and scams anyone who allows him to sweet talk them for HIS gain and no others. Frankly, the man has no conscience. Run!

I agreed to purchase an AC system from this company. They agreed to install a certain brand, quality and size unit. They also made multiple guarantees in their advertising and sales presentation. When they installed the equipment, it was the wrong brand and in the wrong location of the HVAC closet. They would not honor any of their guarantees they had advertised or promised in their sales presentation. This has been a $10,000 mistake. The system never worked as promised. Be careful. Their ads are slick. They go under multiple names Hobson Air Conditioning Inc and Comfort Experts Inc. Do your homework. In my experience they are much better at marketing than servicing their customers or keeping their promises. In my case the guarantees were worthless. Do your home work.I thought I had and I was taken hard.
