I love to visit Old Town and try to go when I am in the area. There are tons of stores selling everything from jewelry to chocolates. My personal favorite are the street vendors, they tend to be from the local pueblos selling everything from handmade jewelry to pottery. This is a great place to go and do some serious Christmas shopping.

Even if you don't own or aren't looking for a pet, this is a MUST VISIT store. They carry every conceivable type of reptile, snake, spider, etc. The owners breed many of the animals themselves and know just about everything there is to know. They can recommend the perfect pet for you and will give you a hands on experience you won't soon forget. They will also trade animals and will buy some animals if you can no longer care for them.

A little bit of nostalgia. Busters is a classic Route 66 diner that has endured many changes. They still serve very classic american food and have GREAT milkshakes. Portions are fairly large and prices are reasonable. This is a must visit restaurant for the Route 66 buff. Not a large restaurant, so you may need to go during the week and not over the classic lunch or dinner hour. They have wonderful burgers!

More
Pop Pops is a VERY TINY shop with 3 counter stools. But they have the BEST italian ice, gelatto and shake like drinks. They typically have about 6 flavors of italian ice and they layer it with a custard type soft serve ice cream to make a gelatto. It is INCREDIBLE!! Definitely worth the drive. They close at 6 p.m. most nights and are only open seasonally. They have a punch card so you can get one free for every 10 you buy. They have interesting flavors and recently have been having one that is sugar free.

The Radisson is a great hotel that I have stayed at several times with in the last couple of months. The best thing about them is they have a great Karaoke bar! We go to the bar on the weekends sometimes even when we don't stay at the hotel. The bartenders and waitress are great. They have great drinks and great specials one drinks. Last weekend for Happy Hour they had $2.75 margaritas. The Karaoke is always really good and we always have a lot of fun even if we don't sing. You can drink and stay the night at the hotel. If you do book your hotel online at their website before you becuase it is about $40 cheaper then booking it at the front desk.
