I absolutely love Dion's pizza on fourth st.. Not only is the food great, the employees are always friendly, love to make small talk, and are always smiling. The pizza is amazing, I love new mexican green chile on mine. The subs are always getting better, and the salads are always fresh and made just for you. The employees are mostly teens, and most are valley kids from around the community. They are mature, and will help you if you need anything, such as extras, help out to your car, or to trade in dressings. The refills are free, you can phone in or dine in. late afternoons are usually the busiest, but it's well worth the wait, and again the employees are too nice, probably the nicest of all the Dion's, and always laughing and joking around with each other. What a great atmosphere! Sometimes you can even catch them all singing...
Pros: FOOD, great, friendly employees, service is rocking.
Cons: busy afternoons. short wait. can run out of dion's ranch! beware.

Dion's pizza is everywhere in Albuquerque, and for good reason. The pizza is more Californian (whatever that means) than New York, but it is still consistently scrumptious-and I prefer New York style pizza. The salads are big and well-composed, and the place is great for groups. I also have a soft spot for the one on Academy because of the Kandinsky prints on the wall-how often do you see those in restaurants?
Pros: great for groups, inexpensive

Every summer my kids and I travel to New Mexico to visit family. We must always make more than 3 visits to eat a Dions. The Ranch Salad and the Pizza baked on a slate are the best ever. I worked for Dions over 16 years ago when they were on Zuni and San Mateo. Now I live in Houston and still after 4 years of hunting for the perfect pizza Joint, have failed to find anything worth eatting. Good luck and it is nice to see the growth of Dions throughout the city. Why not grow over to Houston?

Without a doubt, Dion's Pizza has both a strategic and a sustainable advantage over the competition. The unique combination of fresh, copious toppings, incredible sauce, perfect dough, and friendly knowledgable staff add to a relaxing atmosphere that is second to none. Handcrafted salads and subs are made fresh and customer requests for slight changes effortlessly accommodated. Background music is maintained at a comfortable volume enabling normal conversation all leading to an enjoyable experience. Table tops, chairs, and surroundings are clean and well maintained both inside and out. Dining at Dion's is a wonderful experience to be shared with family, friends, and colleagues.
Pros: Outstanding food, Friendly staff, Great atmosphere
Cons: No pizza sub

Disgusting.
This is unfortunate because they would normally be my first choice for pizza, but I have stopped going there entirely.
Cons: undercooked pizza, very little sauce
