This seems to be the only Veterinary Clinic in town to have a low-income sliding scale program. For someone on disability with multiple critters, the value is more important than the wait. Besides, everyone in the waiting area was really nice, too.
I made my initial call in the afternoon and was given an appointment the next morning. I too, had to wait over an hour after my posted appointment. That said, the Vet we saw (male) was polite, warm, courteous and well informed. Although the particular piece of hardware he wanted to use was broken, he made a good diagnosis and provided a medication that worked wonders.
This is a no-frills, basic vet for laid-back, no-frills folk. If you want someone to crop your show dog's ears, crop it's tail, or otherwise pander to your quest for perfections, you probably won't be happy here. If you're looking for good, basic care - you will.

We took our Pointer puppy to have her nose checked out (she was getting discoloration). Anyway, the vet we saw (there is only one lady there) was clueless. First we waited for aver an hour passed our appointment time. Second, she was rude and snappy. She completely ignored the problem we were there for and concerned with and proceeded to tell me that my dog was "too thin". She wasn't even familiar with my dogs breed!!! If she knew about pointers she would know that they are very toned and defined. She really made us mad. and I wanted to cry. She treated my boyfriend and myself as if we were stupid and didn't know anything about dogs. Needless to say we never went back there, and every chance I get to tell other people not to I take it.
