I've been to Pancho's many times and never had a problem with their food or service. Actually, my co-workers and I go for lunch 2 or 3 times a week. You won't find better taste of Mexican food in the Capital Region than this. GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE!!!!

As a lover of Mexican food, I was expecting something better when I went to Pancho's new Troy, NY location. What I got was really Mexican fast food that did not taste as if it was well prepared. The ingredients were simple and really bland. They did not do much to spice up the food. I ordered a quesadilla, and what I got was dry edges around the tortilla, then a really large melted pile of cheese in the center. So much cheese that it was really nauseating, about half an inch's worth. I couldn't finish it and felt that it was really not worth order a quesadilla there since I can do a better job myself.

I expected the food here to be better than it was as I'd heard it would be good (from someone who went to a different location). When they brought out our food, my husband was given a totally wrong entrée... which tasted ok but wasn't what he'd ordered. It took quite a bit of time to make the understand that we'd gotten the wrong food and to have them fix the problem, so the experience was not good.
