Place on the Pointe has all sorts of gifts, no matter who you're looking for or the occasion. You can find great Georgia and Georgia Tech gifts (they seem to continue the rivalry in the store!), items unique to southwest Georgia, and if you have a party or event coming up, they create great stationery for your invitations. While there aren't many specialty grocers in Albany, Taylor's Market has carved a nice niche for itself, specializing in meat. There's a great selection of meat, especially pork and beef. Their beef cuts offer up the best steaks in town! The butcher will provide any assistance you need. The rest of the store is somewhat limited in terms of grocery items, but for meat, this is the place to go.

They offered some great tips on care for the hermit crab...food, aquarium, etc. Bennetts also sells all sorts of supplies for your dogs and cats, including some good premium foods.

But, they will try and find it for you, because they rely on return customers.
