This place has gone downhill. There was a time when the parking lot of this place used to be full, but not anymore. Today, I learned why that is.
First, they wouldn't let me substitute the eggs that came with a meal I had planned to order. So for those of you looking to watch your cholesterol or who are allergic to eggs altogether, Farmer Boy's won't let you substitute a 10-cent egg with a 5-cent piece of toast. They'll tell you that you can get the order without eggs, but it'll be the same price. I don't know about you, but paying the same amount of money for less food than the person sitting next to me doesn't sit well with me.
So, I ordered their eggplant parmesan instead. It was actually so undercooked it was crunchy, and I honestly couldn't chew through it. And for as undercooked as it was, the "garlic bread" that came with it was burnt to a crisp. We're talking pitch-black, hard-as-a-rock burnt. So, we called the waitress over. I told her that the meal wasn't edible, she took it back, and then said the manager had fixed our check. That was satisfactory...until we actually looked at the check.
They knocked $1 off of a completely ruined meal that I took two bites out of. Folks, I'm not a person who complains about everything. I'm really not. In fact, this is the first time I've ever complained at a restaurant in my life. But I'm warning you, do not give this place your patronage. I implore you to drive 5 miles in any direction and you'll find a better restaurant.
