My car was 1st taken to Addison Aamco in April of 2007. They rebuilt the transmission and charged me $3,500.00. The car ran well for almost a year and then the same thing happened again. Well because I was within the warranty time wise, I had gone over about 1200 miles (my trip to Atlanta for my grandbaby's b-day), they only charged me $900 this time. Not 2 days later, it happened again. They repaired it again and this time it lasted a week. Took it in again with the original issue and they repaired it yet a 4th time. This time the transmission went out on the way to my father-in-law's funeral. Car was towed to 1st Shreveport and then to Longview. Guy in Longview asked for some history and said the original issue was never repaired. He fixed the car at no cost to me and it has been running ever since. Oh, and did I mention that it only took 3 months? Longview Rocked! Addison Sucked!

I started going to Addison when I was single after getting a referral from another loyal customer. Now married with 3 cars and have always found them to be honest, hard-working people we can count on. We even drive across town to get there. Every time we've referred people to them, they have ended up saving money for the same repair priced elsewhere.
We have family in another state that own this type of garage where they want to "make a living, not a killing" and treat their customers well. So we feel comfortable going there.
You won't get fancy coffee or WiFi - but they will repair your car and even be truthful and tell you when a repair isn't really necessary - something I haven't always received elsewhere.

We went to The Improv not that long ago and had such a wonderful time, we took a group of friends with us the next time to enjoy the experience with us! The setting is great - it is upstairs next to The Piano Bar, and it is small enough to feel close to the comedian even when you're at the back. There is a 2 item minimum for the evening, which ensures they make a little extra money off of you while you're there, but a few drinks and an appetizer is perfect. There are usually 2 shows a night, an early one and a late one, so you can go here early in the evening or later. Call ahead for tickets and check their website regularly for a comic that you're interested in seeing because tickets do sell out quickly because it isnt a very big room.

This is the ice skating rink where the Dallas Stars used to practice, but they don't anymore. I never even knew that this place existed until one of my friends told me about it. I played broomball there once and I liked the place. It's pretty big and they have a restaurant there as well. It's definately worth going there once to check it out.
