Not only were her alterations expensive, she makes promises and does not deliver. Promised a call when the dress was ready, 3 weeks overdue, I call and she actually yells at me telling me I was supposed to call her! Promised that it would be cleaned and pressed. Not only was it NOT cleaned, she stained the skirt of my wedding dress and had the nerve to tell me I brought it in like that. I think not. Now I've got a RUINED dress and she will not even discount the price of the alterations or take off the charge for what I was told was the cleaning and pressing... Payment was CASH ONLY and no money, no dress. Now I don't have time to shop for a new one and will have to pay someone else to get out the stain she put there. If you know anyone considering Irene's show them this. I will be notifying the BBB. RUDE THEIVING LIARS!!!!

I would price dresses before actually ordering from Irene's. In my opinion, I think she "ups" the prices of the gowns after she does the odering for the customer. And plese do not ask her shop to do alterations. You will be charged an outrageous sum. If you must order a dress from the shop, take it elsewhere for alterations. This is based on experience with the shop.
