Another Tom Douglas owned restaurant, this is the latest from the Seattle celebrity chef. Somewhat noisy, but the ambiance is still very nice. It is located by the Andra Hotel. Food is greek-themed and very good. I like the kabobs and ALL of the desserts! Give it a try, its great!

My kids and I have this quarterly ritual. We visit the Pacific Science Center. We find that there is always something to discover and that they update their exhibits frequently, each one more interesting than the previous. Great fun place that's also educational and a nice breather from the malls.

I'm always happy when I eat at Andaluca. Most recently, I went there for their "dine around Seattle" promotion (you basically get 4 of their "pinxtos" [small plates] + dessert for $30). Everything that I and my three dining companions had was exquisite. Specifically, I'd highly recommend the halibut skewer, the cabrales-crusted beef skewer, and the mushrooms ala greque. I'm not much of a dessert eater but the liquid chocolate cake was also delicious. Andaluca also has a superb wine list and mixes great cocktails. The service was the perfect blend of attentive and unobtrusive and the ambiance is elegant yet relaxed. All in all, a wonderful dining experience which I would highly recommend.
Pros: atmosphere, food, service, free valet parking

I am moving to Seattle and was staying in the Crown Plaza. I wanted pasta and salad for dinner so we went around the corner to Tulio. Turns out, not really a pasta and salad place, but I was SO glad that I made my way there. My sister and I had a glass of prosecco to start. Then we shared the sweet potato gnocchi. I think that may be one of the best things I've ever eaten in my whole life. I was a little sad that we shared it. I moved on to the chicken with lemon risotto. The risotto was done perfectly, and the chicken had such good flavor. It wasn't dry or bland. My sister had the TAGLIATELLE winter ragu, homemade ricotta. It was also fantastic. There was plenty of food, and I wish we would have had room for dessert, because it all looks yummy!
Pros: atmosphere, food, wine list
Cons: none

I wasn't expecting much- I knew it was a budget hotel and warned my friends it was suppose to be a basic hotel. We were all really surprised to find out that the hotel was so close to everything, our room was large and clean, the bar next door was great, and Bob at the front was so nice! He helped us find different clubs and restaurants, and was extremely polite! This place is perfect if you're under thirty, want a place you can totally chill at, and don't want to drive around. The only problem is parking's a real drag- it costs around $22.00. But what else do you expect downtown?
Pros: great location, clean, inexpensive
Cons: parking

We stayed overnight at the Edgewater on election night 2009. The room was impeccable and pristine clean. We had dinner there. We ordered from the set menu, $30 for a 3 course dinner. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, and the service was perfect. All in all we give them 5 stars

We had a delicious lunch the day of our arrival in Seattle (Feb 11th). The Salad Nicoise was fresh & very well prepared as was my fresh cod with perfectly cooked aspargus & yellow beets. The waiter was friendly & attentive. We had the opportunity to meet Michael White, the executive chef & applauded him for his recipes. When I return to Seattle, I will definitely return to Brasserie Margaux.
