Zoka is a wonderful place to study or telecommute. However, that's no big secret. The big, roomy tables there are almost always full. But if you get there early in the morning, you can settle in for a productive day. There are tons of outlets and free wi-fi. The coffee is good, the baristas are award winning and the pastries are tasty.

Chill place for great coffee and getting some work done if you can find a seat. I prefer this location over their Greenlake one; staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.
Pros: Great coffee, nice staff

This catering company is on the top of my list. Fresh organic and the staff is exceptional. I was accommodated within a very short notice for 200 people wedding event and everything was wonderful.
I would recommend Zoey Catering with all my heart for any occasion

I began seeing Beth after my husband and I found out that we need to have IVF in order to conceive. Prior to setting up an actual session with Beth, we corresponded via email as we tried to determine the reason my spouse and I were not conceiving. It turns out my husband has high FSH levels which prevent him from producing enough sperm to conceive naturally. He needs to have TESE along with my IVF.
Beth was so compassionate and helpful even though I hadn?t yet set up an appointment. She wasn?t pushy and never tried to ?sell? me on her services. She was kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable about her trade. I just knew that I was in good hands. She gave me a wonderful abdominal massage along with some acupuncture. I felt very light and relaxed after our session?I even became emotional on my drive home! It?s very unlike me to cry for no apparent reason.
Overall, I highly recommend Beth and will definitely continue my treatment with her. She is a healer and I feel very lucky to have found her.

Zippy's is the perfect burger joint - simple, unpretentious, friendly and of course, with great food. Beef ground fresh daily, homemade special sauce, shakes made with local ice cream (Full Tilt in Rat City), amazing homemade veggie burger, huge selection of specialty sodas sweetened with cane sugar. The #11 made with Mama Lil's Hot Peppers is particularly outstanding. Reasonable prices too! Wildly popular since opening in May. Yum yum!

Zion's Gate Record's is an awesome record store located a few blocks up from Broadway on E Pike in Capital Hill.
Zion's gate has an excellent selection and specializes in dance hall, dub, and reggae.
This is a huge record store and you can spend days looking and listening through the various vinyl collection. There are two turntables outward facing the front window of the shop so that you can watch people walk by as you sample the large stacks you pull from the shelves.
Zion's gate also stocks some techno, DnB, and House but this is the spot if your looking for Dub or Dancehall.
