Where do I even begin? I was in Atlanta for business and heard that Cheetah was the best strip club in town. My co-worker and I were amazed by the beauty of these girls. They were not pushy about dances and would sit with you at the bar, have drinks and talk to you. It was a Wednesday night and we got there right at 10 for the official opening when the girls(70 we counted) march onto the for you to look them over, and then they offer two table dances for $10. I was told there are about 150 girls on the weekends. The girls were from all over the south, incredible bodies, most of them all natural, and most of them had pretty faces. I did not go to the executive room, I was told it was $150 for an hour and a half, didn't get the full scoop on what goes down. It's a shame you can't get a $20 or even $30 lap dance, but the girls are so hot and might as well be touching you it's a pretty good deal for $10. If you're ever in HOTlanta, do yourself a favor and go to the Cheetah, you won't be disappointed!

I'm a regular customer of Swinging Richard's, and after reading some of the reviews, I felt some things needed clarification. The club caters to gay men, not women, and certainly not to bachelorettes. The women's restroom is one stall, and the men's has five urinals, two stalls, and an attendant. It should be apparent what clientelle the management want in there. There's a male strip club dedicated to women, and several of the dancers have moved from that club to dance at Richard's because they weren't making any money. There are times that I go in and the place is overflowing with women, and the DJ is insulting them, accusing them of not tipping. The point is to get the women to tip, or get out, but yet they still sit there.
I wouldn't go into a restaurant, or anywhere for that matter, without enough money to tip. The people that complain about the prices are ridiculous. News flash: every strip club charges for entry and parking fees (or valet). Generally speaking every club charges a high rate for a drink. That's how a club stays in business. Only difference being the Richard's drinks are strong as jet fuel, for the price of a watered down drink at a restaurant. The dancers and staff both work for tips, that is how they make a living. The dancers pay the club to work there, not the other way around. I often have a great night there for around $50, and that's including entry, parking, a couple of drinks, and tipping the dancers. It's not a concert; you don't pay at the door and expect a free show. If you go there with realistic expectations, you will not be disappointed. If you go in there thinking it'll be like a strip club you'd see on TV, then you're better off staying at home and watching it there.

It was Birthday Bash weekend in Atlanta, so you know the hottest Strip Club in hip hop had to put on for the after party. Everyone was out in Atlanta Saturday night and every club was throwing parties after the concert. A lot of clubs had to pay big acts to make guest appearances to get a crowd but not Magic City. Magic does what it does best, put on a show.
Last Saturday reminded me why I fell in love with the strip clubs in Atlanta. It is not just because Magic has some of the sexiest girls I have ever seen but it was their performance. It is going to be hard to describe it in words, but I'll try.
Fist of all I got to give a big shot out to DJ Esco for holding the music down. Esco knew what to play and the ladies knew how to dance to it. I also got to give a shot out to the host for the night, DJ XRATED. XRATED murded the audience with his one liners, but I need to give the biggest shot out to the girls. Especially to one set in particular. I do not remember which girls were on stage but I will never forget the show they put on. These were the most creative girls I have ever seen and I'm not just referring to females in the club. I mean anywhere.
The set started off hard with numerous pole tricks and energy but then Esco dropped "Swag Surfin" by Calvin and it was on. Two girls climbed up the same pole. One of the girls was able to hold herself horizontally on the pole, parallel to the ground while the other girl got above her and started surfin. I was like what!!!! The crowd roared as if Kobe was shooting a buzzer beater. I have never heard the entire crowd respond like that to a set. Their set wasn't over after that song, the girls kept it crunk during the next song also.
During the next song, the same two girls climbed to the top of that pole, some how were able to lay on top of each other while another dancer spun them around. They wear spinning like an airplane propeller all the way to the ground. I could not believe my eyes. I forgot I was at a strip club. That set alone was well well well worth the admission fee.
I do not want to take anything away from the rest of the girls though. They all were amazing. We have reviewed a number of clubs but Saturday after the Birthday Bash jumped right up to one of the top nights. I have never seen that much energy in a while.

Cons: There is not a Magic City in every city :(

I LOVE Piedmont Park. Yes, I always think of it as our little Central Park because it IS central...I don t own a dog but I love them and I like seeing them romp around with their masters...I love seeing the children play with their parents and friends, I love watching the ducks in the lake, the little summer time vegetable stand, the joggers and walkers( that s me)the special activities that are held there...I like meeting and talking to the people who visit there because they seem to be so much more interesting than the average person.. What I don t understand is all the hoopla about the parking deck...Folks need to have somewhere to park...Everyone doesn t live at the park but they still love it and want to go. And everyone is not physically able to catch public transportation.

Peachtree Yoga has long been my oasis after busy Atlanta days and a source of growth both physically and spiritually. Classes and teachers are accommodating to various levels of yoga practice, from brand new students to the seasoned yogis. The extensive schedule of classes will allow for a yoga class to fit into almost any busy Atlantan's routine whether it be jump-starting your day bright and early or winding down with a deep breath before bed. A few minutes in the meditation room or sipping tea with "family" before class only heightens the experience here. I highly suggest the Teacher Training course for those interested in sharing or deepening their practice.

Snack bars are plentiful, bathrooms are easy to access, and there is even an ATM in the lobby.
Make sure you get there early enough to park, and that you arrive with enough time to spare, regardless of whatever performance you are attending.

My wife and I took a rainy day tour of the Carter Center. It was a day well spent. We really liked the travelling exhibit of gowns of the First Ladies in history. The museum layout is designed to make your self-guided tour of the facility simple to plan and follow. We ate in their cafeteria that has a pleasant atmosphere with a pleasing view of the grounds. The food was tasty and service was very friendly; we felt as if we were guests in the home of a hostess.
President Carter's papers are organized by the day of the year. Plan to read a day of President Carter's papers from the library. It is a very interesting collection of memos and correspondence. The facination is the mix of people who contact a President of the Untied States and the reasons they write to him. We plan on returning this spring...and will read papers from his library at the mid-point of our day there.

the only 18-hole golf course inside the perimeter. The course has been revamped and made more difficult. Supposedly it has gone up to PGA level, but i'm not sure on that. Also the surrounding neighborhood is one of atlanta's more gorgeous. The golf shop is expensive, i mean it is a private golf club. Also there are some celebrity guests, such as GA tech's coach Paul Hewitt, emory's board of directors/president/provost. A large number of faculty members at emory are members at the club.
