I tried to get to the SunDial at sunset we missed our 8:15 reservation and made it around 8:45. Staff was polite and we were immediately accomodated. The sky was still a little pink. The view was breaktaking! My boyfriend and I were speechless. I was surpised at how big the restaurant was and how nicely dim and romantic it was. Don't feel bad for taking pictures, everyone does. We were celebrating my boyfriend's acceptance into Pharmacy school. I hadn't had the chance to tell our server, Abdul, but he brought us an extra dessert. Raspberry and chocolate sorbet. I don't like chocolate but the their chocolate sorbet was good. The Blackberry Napoleon was good (the berries werent sweet but...so what) the cream was so heavy and rich. YUM! Food is pricey...I would reccomend to share dessert. drinks (wine) are small but nice. Perfect restaurant. Staff is friendly and parking is validated at the end of the night. My boyfriend felt so special and kept thanking me. You will get many brownie points.

I've been a fan of South City Kitchen since my date and I visited after my Senior Prom. (Yes, that long) Once a regular, I hadn't really dined there in sometime before last night... but I was pleased to know that the formula hadn't changed.
SCK consistently provides a wonderful dining experience. They continue a tradition of innovative food with simple, high quality ingredients. And while some may question certain dishes, you can always be certain you'll have a wholesome, well-prepared, elegantly presented meal served by one of the best waitstaffs in the city.
Favorites: Crab Cake appetizer

Fried Chicken (unbelieveably juicy)
Banana Pudding
(the biscuits and corn muffins are to die for, too)
I've been recommending South City Kitchen to family and friends for well over 10 years... and will continue to do so.

My husband and I went there for our Anniversary today. I was hesitant because of the reviews I read, but I went any due to the fact another friend of mine from Memphis went last month and told me what an awesome experience they had.
The food was so good until I could not believe it! I mean everything we ordered was good and well worth the money. We started off with the fried green tomatoes that was so delicious. I ordered the fish with yams and corn and my husband had Salmon, broccoli and deep fried plantains.
This was some of the best food ever and trust me we eat out at nice restaurants all the time and this was another all time favorite that we have to add to our list.
So the next the next time we are in the ATL we are Justin's bound!
So for anyone who read the negative reviews please please try it for yourself!
Oh I forgot, the waitress was so nice and when she found out it was our anniversary she brought us out some red velet cake and she had the chef to write on the plate in strawberry syrup HAPPY ANNIVERSATY!
This place was awesome .Good food, good servcie , who can ask for anything more?

I love Thai food and have dined at many of the familiar places around Metro Atlanta. Thai Palate is by far my absolute favorite. Their Mango Chicken with fresh basil and Coconut Chicken dishes are ones that ignite cravings for their unique blend of flavors. Their Roti pancake with curry sauce appetizer is also a real treat as is their flaming banana dessert. Those in my dining parties have always agreed that the food is exceptional and we all look forward to sharing a meal there again. Great place for dinner before the theater.
