This museum was a little boring. You get to see an old mansion with a buttery (to make their own butter) and a cooking fireplace. The French wallpaper from the 1800's was a little neat, but if you've seen an Amish house before, you've seen this. Not too spectacular; don't plan a day around it. more

This is a great place to learn some history. Kids will enjoy it as well as the adults. Here is what you can learn about: Learn about a four room house built in 1815 and how it was turned into a 17 room mansion. Find out how it became known as " Shandy Hall " and see many items that Robert, Polly and their four daughters used back in the 1815's. This is an informative tour and can be fun. more

A fun informative place to visit. Learn about a four room house built in 1815 and how it was turned into a 17 room mansion. Find out how it became known as " Shandy Hall " and see many items that Robert, Polly and their four daughters used back in the 1815's. They offer several different programs and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended for young and old alike. more
