The Zimmer Museum offers hands-on experience for kids to step inside a ambulance and sit in a wheelchair, play dress-up on a real stage with an ongoing camera, fly a plane, play waiter or waitress in a restaurant, step inside a synagogue, play with a water puzzle, see a wall-size world map, etc. They also offer music classes and art classes, however they fill-up quickly and can be overcrowded at times. There's plenty of stimulation can be overwhelming. Personally, I think this could be a nice place to take your kid a few times a year, but i wouldn't recommend an annual membership unless you've got a community of friends who attend regularly.
