I warn others to stay away! Years ago on one of my visits to her office Ms. Zilbert did a root canal on two of three roots in one of my upper teeth. The root that she did not treat abscessed and destroyed bone tissue around that particular tooth. When I called for some pain medication all I got was a prescription for a mouth wash. After seeing several other professionals and several thousand dollars later I had to have bone grafting and an implant done.\r My recommendation is to STAY AWAY! more

After my husband's good experience, I made am appointment. Had the usual cleaning and exam done. Had a few minor fillings that needed to be done. Got an appointment for that pretty quick and got them done. She is gentle, nice and did not lecture me, like my old dentist. Office is close to med center (work) and Stone Oak (home). more

Well it started with a broken tooth. Asked a friend who they would recommend and they sent me here. I was able to get in that day and get relief. Was afraid I would need a root canal, crown, etc. But Dr. Zilbert was able to avoid the root canal. Had some bonding done. Looks very good, better than my tooth did. Office was easy to find, clean, up to date and staff was very helpful and friendly. Also had a payment plan arrangement which was helpful. more

I have been seeing Dr Zilbert for many years now. I have always felt she took the time to explain things to me in a manner I could understand them. more

At first I loved going to her. She made me feel welcome and so did her staff. I was having jaw problems and just wanted a referral to a dental surgeon to get my wisdom teeth removed. She cleaned my teeth (painfully so) and told me I need multiple fillings before I got my wisdom teeth removed. It was my first time going without a parent and I agreed. Over the next couple weeks she gave me over 10 fillings (on every minor cavity). She was going to do a root canal when I said no I needed my wisdom teeth out. I'm all healed up from my wisdom teeth but I still can't chew crunchy food or any food warmer or cooler than room temp. because my teeth still hurt where she did the fillings (its been close to 3 months). THEY WANT YOUR MONEY. RUN. Btw she used up all of my dental insurance for the year so I have to wait until January to get my teeth even looked at again. more

I was very impressed with the entire staff. They were very caring and I never felt like they were trying to sell me something (the way I felt at another dentist). more

I needed a check up after moving to SA. She was recommended to me so I gave her a try. After doing an exam she spent a good amount of time with me explaining things and answering questions. I did need two small fillings and that went well. Her office is very neat and the staff is nice and knowledgable. I have recommended her to others so I thought I would post it here also. more

I had not been to the dentist in years out of fear. I finally had to go and was extremely apprehensive. Some recommended Dr Zilbert and I was very pleased with her demeanor and treatment. I now wonder to myself why I let it go so long. She definitely takes the time to make sure it is done right while making sure I am comfortable with the procedures. I noticed that most of her patients appear to be other professionals. Pros: Calming, Nice Office, Great Staff more

I went to this doctor and was told I had several old fillings needing to be replaced with a root canal, etc with no pain or issues to warrant this. My husband has forked over 10K in one year before he realized he was being scammed into unneeded work. She wanted to do all these different treatments for gum issues, etc at an very high out of pocket cost! She makes you feel like it really needs to be done!! My husband found out his ex took their 15 yr old son to her and was given a root canal at 15!! We all stopped going and found new dentists all to be told everything she tried to claim was false. This office only seeks your money... cash! Not insurance claims! more

My daughter was seen for a regular cleaning and check up. My insurance covers this 100%. To my daughters amazement she was charged $90.00 at the end of her visit. The charge was for a full mouth XRAY. This was already done within the previous year. She did not need this, if they had called to verify benefits like all other offices do they woould have realized this. My insurance company is requesting all Xrays and molds, notes in order to do a pre determination of services. I received my copies at home but when I called the Dr's office I was told by the office manager and the only lady that ever answers the phone they never received them. I asked for a fax number and she told me the fax machine was down. I have called and left several messages for Dr. Zilbert to discuss my daughters procedures and make sure they send in all documentation the insurance needs. I am still waiting .. I called again and this time.. the office manager just wouldnt give me the fax # and now states that the Dr herself does not want to work on my daughter. I know they cannot provide the insurance with casts or molds because they were never taken and my daughter was charged for them also. The submitted charges were at $1800.00 Pros: Dentist seemed very nice Cons: terrible office manager,billing,overcharged.. No customer service.. Ins. not explained at all more

My wife and I went to Dr. Zilbert's office on two different days for the same reason: to get our teeth cleaned and the usual evaluation. Pros: Parking, ambiance etc were nice Cons: we felt taken advantage of more

Told my daughter she had 12 potential cavities needing attention. I took my daughter to a faculty member of UT Dental School. He could find no problems. Year later, she is cavity free. On my visit, I developed gum problems immediatly after having my teeth cleaned by her hygenist; 2 weeks later, went to see another dentist who found ground tarter lodged under my molar gum; After removal, no problem. Pros: Nice office, nice staff Cons: Exaggerates care needed more
