Best

This store is great! They have it all... From the popular CD's to the really rare ones...they have it all. They have all kinds of CD's that most stores have never even heard of...

Worst

This store is run by rebellious looking teenagers. That is about all you'll find there. They know their stuff when it comes to punk, ska and rockabilly, but let's hope you don't...

Great selection Poor Customer Service 9/17/2017

I have been to both store locations in NV. My friend and I had items to trade in. A total of 6 1/2 hours later of both visits combined. 6 1/2 hours of waiting, because the people waiting on us we're not focused on what was going on. I can understand both locations receive a lot of business. My suggestion to both the NV locations is: focus on the customer. Not on your friends, or girlfriends in the stores, or your smart phones. The customers are the reason you have a job there, or so I thought. So next time, if there is a next time, please don't make me wait for 6 and 1/2 hours to look and figure out my trades please. Sincerely a concerned customer! more

CD's and more 2/26/2006

This store is great! They have it all... From the popular CD's to the really rare ones...they have it all. They have all kinds of CD's that most stores have never even heard of. And if they don't have it then sometimes they can order it. They also buy your used CD's which is a great way to get a new one! They have some posters, books, and other items too. more

Fair prices 12/31/2005

I brought a bunch of CD's for exchange and not only were they able to look over my items while I shopped, but they gave me top dollar for what I brought in. You have the option to take cash or store credit. If you take store credit, you get way more for your exchange. They made it easy for me. The only drawback for me was waiting (I have a baby and the music is kind of loud). more

Something for everyone 11/2/2005

This store has a bunch of rare albums and vinyls. There is a huge selection of dvds and cds. The store also has a lot of information about local bands and events going on in the community, and the decor itself has a cool vibe to it. Sometimes the bands will come in and sign CDs on special days. I've also sold back CDs to them and gotten Zia dollars or cash. more

just okay 8/29/2005

This store seemed a lot better when I was ten years younger. It is okay if you are wanting to buy a cd that you are not sure if you are going to really like. That is what is nice about buying used. But I can usually find the mainstream music cheaper at Walmart or Target. Staff is competent but only really knowledgeable about the current music. more

zia 8/20/2005

If you are looking for something a bit off the wall, then zia is it for you. True it is filled with teens and such, but it is right off mill avenue so what would you expect. They have a great selection of music, and the prices are decent. Sometimes I would rather wait a while after a cd comes out and buy it here then pay 8 dollars more for it new. Also their exchange up policy is good. more

large selection 8/19/2005

In this day and age of expensive CD's that end up being a disapointment once you get home to listen to them, a used CD shop can be a real blessing. This shop is great and has a real nice selection of used CD's. They have new CD's as well, but I just use them for my used CD needs. The aisles are nice and roomy and they always have some great music blasting while you shop. I have picked up a number of great CD's that I never would have otherwise by hearing them while in the store. They also buy used CD's. They will give you either cash or store (with the store credit dollar amount being higher). more

It's All About the Music 8/9/2005

This store is run by rebellious looking teenagers. That is about all you'll find there. They know their stuff when it comes to punk, ska and rockabilly, but let's hope you don't need help finding anything in folk or classical because they would be clueless. The store is loud and badly decorated. Cleaning is not these clerks first thought. You can trade in CDs or cassettes for credit or a small percentage of cash. This is nice for teens on a budget, who's tastes change radically from wek to week, like my daughter's. I would recommend this store to teens, but not to folk & classic fans. more

Great place to find out of the ordinary stuff 7/8/2005

This is a great place to buy music if you're looking for something a little different. They also have all the new releases though. A lot of young people go here. They also have a good selection of magazines and accessories. You can bring your old CDs in here for cash or trade which is really neat. There's always parking and the staff is usually pretty friendly. The prices are sometimes higher than some of the big name stores though. more
